They have employees, other shops in our area cutback so much their customer service has dropped. This is the place to go for knowledgeable and great customer service
Prompt attentive service, super friendly and knowledgeable staff, impressive inventory.
Wide selection of products, but more importantly, a knowledgeable, friendly staff. We also like shopping at a locally-owned and operated shop.
I love the whole vibe at Bike Lane - all the staff are so welcoming, friendly, genuinely interested in meeting you where you’re at in your bike life and supporting your interest to get yourself and other family members & friends out enjoying biking no matter what level. Mechanics are super responsive, knowledge and fast and very reasonable prices for work done. Great culture which is clearly set by the leadership😊
Great productsand great customer service.
I like that you give individualized attention & make me feel good about my purchase
Helpful and knowlegeable
Wonderful people
Good mechanics. Usually deal with Tom Sziede; he is very good. Great walk-in service
Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Marc was incredibly helpful…Thank you!!!!
The folks that work at the Bike Lane are always positive and well informed about the products that they sell and the service they offer. Convenient location.
extra care and consideration
Todd gave a great class on flats/maintenance. He answered all the questions and gave a lot of advice. I think too many bike shops make you feel like outsiders when you are just getting started but I haven’t felt like that anytime I have stopped in the Reston shop.
Quick, friendly service
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had several great ideas to meet my needs.
Products are great but what makes this the best bike shop are the employees!!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and great bikes. I would definitely use The Bike Lane again.
Richard, Tom and Ward
Friendly staff
Michelle did a fabulous service on my Cannondale bike.
Friendliness
This was my first visit to the Bike Lane. I dropped off a bike for a basic tune up on Sunday 13 August. I was told at that time that the bike would be ready on Thursday 17 Aug or Friday 18 August. By 18 Aug, I hadn't heard anything from the shop. I called on Friday 18 Aug and was told that the bike was still in queue (no one had started the repair yet) and that it would be ready on Tuesday 22 Aug or Wed 23 August. I did receive notification on 22 August that the bike was ready and I picked it up on 22 August. I was hoping to get the bike back last week to give to my daughter before she left town. If the cats had told me on 13 August that the repair would take a week and a half, I would have taken it to another shop....
Friendly and knowledgable staff that made me feel welcome.
Your prices are reasonable. You are located less than 1 mile from my house and right off the W&OD Trail. Your staff is always very helpful. Your techs do good work. Did I leave anything out? You run a good, fair business.
The best customer service, extremely knowledgeable staff, wide range of options to try and buy, and GREAT beers!
Had a great experience. The service floor reps were friendly, listened, and weren't intimidating as I bought my first road bike!
Bakery, brewery in shop. Salsa bicycles. Bike tools.
Always friendly team. Knowledgeable and happy to help. As a regular there they have helped me with some last-minute stuff as well. Great beer and location

Repairs on my bike too longer than initially announced and it was hard to get an update of how much longer it would take.
It would have been good to get a better estimate of the costs from the get go. The service charge is pretty steep, I understand that parts are extra, but I would have expected the installation charges for things like break pads should be included in the service. It does take time to install the break pads, to change some of the wires …. Etc…. But once the bicycle is on the stand… it does not take very long.
