Very customer oriented. The team at Bike Lane Reston, VA work together to make sure you are taken care of. Overall, a very chill vibe about the place and great place to buy a bike!…or simply grab a beer and go from there!
You all are extremely friendly and helpful.
Great service, helpful advice
Best service and great shop
We needed to rent a bike and the Bike Lane was very accommodating. They came through with a good bike, which they fitted to the biker. They also supplied a helmet at no additional cost. We biked about 15 miles and the bike was completely satisfactory throughout. It was a good experience and we'll probably be back to the Bike Lane in future. I must admit that even though I'd biked on that part of the C&O bike path thousands of time, I didn't even know the Bike Lane was there. But I'll certainly stop for a cold drink next time I go by.
friendly! reliable! good!
Very friendly and customer service focused!
Speedy service. Changed my bike's brake pads very quickly with no appointment required.
The Bike Lane is one of my must-stop-at cafes on my weekly ride between the Reston and Purcelville areas. The staff are always friendly, the food / beer is always good and folks have been pretty tolerant, even though I'm a commuter / light biker who's trying new styles of riding out. Their bike rack is also conveniently set up so its visible from almost anywhere in the store, so you don't have to worry about letting your pedal-powered Ferrarri (or your workhorse Prius-bike-equivalent) out of your line of sight.
They are also one of the only bike shops with rentals in the area, so if you're interested in trying out a different style of bike but aren't willing to mortgage the house on something you don't know if you'll like, they're an excellent resource (and I hear they have follow-on deals if you end up liking the rental in question).
I hear that they're looking at expanding their food license, soon, so there's potentially more great food and drinks on the way (hopefully including curry noodle bowls and pickle shots)!
Cheers, folks! You do a great job! :D
Customer service, employees and the products quality.
You guys rock!
The service is great! Everyone is helpful. Blake gave me great advice on my new tires.
Top notch repair team and sales force.
Excellent customer service!!
Great people who care about customers’ needs.
While my initial drop off in meeting with Michelle was very positive, subsequent interactions were less so.
The response from the maintenance manager when I asked what qualified for price matching was not very pleasant. I was merely asking for clarification of what was written on the quote. And when I called and inquired about the readiness date he was similarly cold and hostile. Not sure what's going on but I didn't get the warm and fuzzy as I have at other local bike shops, especially when I'm paying the full price for a $500 plus job.
When I went to collect my bike, the person handling the payment didn't seem too happy with his job either. Local bike shops in known for their extremely positive customer interactions and I didn't get that. I will stick to a bike mechanic I work with in Ashburn, A1, and Trek in Leesburg in the future.
Very friendly service - low pressure. The mechanics are awesome!
Not upset, just disappointed.
On 8/18 I ordered a replacement rear wheel for my Trek Verve +2 ebike and two replacement rotors, Shimano RT-66s. Unfortunately, when I returned to pick up the parts, I saw the Bike Lane had incorrectly ordered a wheel for rim brakes, not disc brakes. The Bike Lane then ordered a second new wheel and told me that the RT-66 rotor they had previously ordered me for the rear wheel was incompatible with the second replacement wheel and I would instead want an RT-64 rotor. Great, I thought. However, after the second wheel came in, I realized the Bike Lane was again incorrect and that the second replacement wheel required RT-66 rotors. I returned a third time today to return the incorrect RT-64 rotor for a refund. I've ordered the replacement online.
Mistakes happen, totally get it. I came to the BL because I value your expertise. I was hoping to save time by getting your guidance in ordering the correct parts to help me repair my bike and to support my LBS. But after multiple incorrect orders and three visits, I couldn't handle yet another order and a fourth visit.
Generally you all are awesome. I want to love the BL. I've purchased multiple bikes and had truly excellent service and help in troubleshooting bike issues at the BL. However, I'm frustrated. Never once did I receive an apology for wasting my time and in the end I'm left wondering why I bothered trying to stay local with my parts purchasing.
PS: The "5% back on ever purchase" you print on your receipts is also frustrating, as I was told that is not tracked and not honored. Seems very misleading.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend!
Great energy, people who obviously love what they do.
Good inventory for booking needs.
Great service. Polite and attentive staff.
Local shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Good selection! Easy purchase process!
All of the employees have been more than helpful every time I’ve been in the store. Whether it’s to purchase an item or just to ask them to put air in the tire of my dog’s stroller, all of the employees have been helpful and courteous.
Service is top notch whether its repairs, gear recommendations or questions regarding riding in general.
Fast, reasonable pricing
Super friendly, low pressure, no bs
