Everything about shopping here was great! From the customer service/assistance in selecting the right size of bicycle, to the the service department checking my new bike after purchase was easy. When people ask me where I purchased my bicycle, i let them know The Bike Lane in Springfield without hesitation.
I had a bike fit done and it was very thorough and the information provided was very helpful in dialing in my position on the bike.

The salesman was easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable. The best part was they had bikes in stock unlike our experience in May when no one had bikes.
Your shop helped a fellow rider with a break problem while on trip at no cost which I really appreciated and made me sign up for fitting. I found the fitting helpful but it was not as systematic as the website video suggested. They did not sit down with me first and ask about my riding goals, health issues pain, etc. . They put me on the trainer right away and asked me to start peddling. They still provided useful suggestions and corrected fit but did not really discuss holistic and broader needs and goals.
You're my LBS, you are there when I need you for parts, service, advice, and support. Can't get that online.

Ordered and received a new 2021 Trek Farley 7 recently. The buying experience was a definite 10. Todd and his team took care of me and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Bike shops were swamped when I decided to order my new bike. The Trek website showed the Farley 7 as sold out, but Todd was able to source one of the last available bikes for me.
I mention this because Todd went out of his way and spent a lot of time to be sure every stone was turned over looking for the bike I wanted. Thankfully he was successful. The team at Bike Lane are great. I dropped by the shop today and was asked if my bike needed any adjustments since picking it up. So far so good, but they reminded me that adjustments are free because I bought the bike there. Very cool.
You work with the customer even if you are having trouble getting the bike in.

Had to special order a part and after calling a couple other bike shops that were unhelpful you all found it and ordered for me. It was a perfect fit and I couldn’t be happier.
Very personalized and helpful. the Trek FX3 is perfect for my training needs and MJ was very helpful in providing info and picking out the accessories i needed.
OMG, I road my bike last night after picking it up from service. It was like a new bike! BL replaced bottom bracket, tightened headset, new drive train, & rebuilt the rear hub. I normally inflate my roadbike tires to 90+psi, but the bike felt smooth & plush. Great job BL team!!

I really appreciate the service and that you have helped me fix small bike issues in the past free of charge, such as tightening loose bolts. It has made me want to come back for other things I’ve needed for my bikes.
Love this store! Great friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is my second bike I bought this season, they had bikes when no one else had any! I also love the coffee...it is awesome and it is always fun just to hang out and talk to patrons and staff. Highly recommend this store.
Quality / customer service / selection!!!
The guy who met me when I came to pick up my bike at first couldn't be bothered to help me and the other person at the cashiers desk was in a long personal discussion with some woman. ONce I got the attention of guy #1 he told me that he couldn't find the order. I informed him that I saw the bike hanging on the wall with my name on it. He told me I was mistaken as there was no record of it in the computer. He then realized that he was looking at "service requests" and not "new purchases". Then he took the back bike to the tech for a review. I expected the bike to be ready for pickup. Great shop, great technicians, let down by the apathy of the "cashiers".

I have purchased two bikes in 2020 from the Springfield store and my experiences have been awesome with both purchases.
I also had an older Gary F. mountain bike repaired and just recently got help with my daughter's bike.
I have no negative feedback for this store or the people that work there...period!
