Very helpful service over the phone. Thank you for talking me through the purchase of a Marlin 6M on Saturday in Reston. Turns out the bike is a little too big for her. I will call to discuss trading it in for one size smaller. I can do this it’s either the West Springfield or Reston stores.

I’ve purchased two bikes at Bike Lane. Both times I found staff knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Suggestions on other potential items are made with appropriate info but without any pressure, which is much appreciated.

Service desk employees are always polite. Service jobs get turned around in a reasonable time, even during COVID. Plus, there's a bar 5 feet away to have a beverage while I wait for anything they can do immediately.
The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The service is customer focused and they recommend what’s best for the customer. They took everything I wanted into consideration and made the recommendation based on what they have available. I went in with certain things in mind but I came out with the best product. I am very happy with my new bike. Thank you.

Friendly support whether ordering over the phone or coming in the store, the Bike Lane has or finds what ever we need, and we have bikers of all ages and skill levels in our family. They truly are the best of neighborhood stores, caring about each customer and their biking experiences and needs.

I had called to confirm an order I was about to make on the website, as I live out of the area and was needing to confirm logistics. I'm glad I did. The website indicated that a particular bike was 'In Store' and available, but it turns out that it was not. The story could have ended there, with me being frustrated about the whole scenario, and consequently leaving a much different score, but it doesn't. After the gentleman who took my call confirmed the mix up on inventory he went straight-away into helping me problem solve - walking the store to see what was available, talk me through different sizing options, and ultimately offering the name of another (competing) store who he thought could help me out. I called the other store and they did have something similar to what I was looking for, but still not exactly. I called back to The Bike Lan and a new associate helped me this time, and again talked me through the reality of bike sizing and what could/should be an appropriate fit for my need. At the end of the day, I pulled the trigger because of this level of customer service and concern. The sale was seamless and the logistics seem to be working out just fine. Thanks!

People who work at the bike lane are always so nice and helpful. It is a pleasant experience making a visit there.
I have used BL since you opened the Reston store. But here are my dislikes (you didn't ask but I'm telling you anyway!).
1--A while back I brought my bike in for fixing a flat. Easy stuff. OK--went to pick up the bike. New tire tube blew when pumped up by BL. . BL replaced the tube. But then charged me for 2 tubes--what? BL blew up the first tube.. Bad customer service--I questioned why being charged...no good answer. Small potato, but bad response by BL for the price of one tube.
2--needed new headlamp. Products offered were only top quality, higher priced ones --I don't need a mega light--so ordered from Amazon.
3--Just bought 2 new bottles for someone else--choice of one offered--with BL name on it. OK--good advertising for you but only one style, one size available. OK, made the choice easy but may not have been the best choice had there been choices.
