After a roadside slice of my tire, I brought in my bike for repair and annual service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Derek, long-time TBL mechanic, addresses all of my questions and bike issues in an expedited fashion. I was able to get back out for my weekend ride after 24 hour service! Thank you, Derek and TBL!

I’ve only been by twice, but the folks I talked to took their time and worked me through all my newbie questions. Other shops have tried to sold me on products and services. Bike lane has so far been chill about helping me understand stuff so I could figure out what I needed.
My experience at the Bike lLane in Reston was phenominal!! The salesman, Marc, was extremely knowledgeable and "no pressure". He patiently answered all our questions, even the dumb ones. He encouraged us to take a ride around the parking lot, I hadn't been on a bike for about 10 years, but felt extremely confident as these are very nice to ride, with about 3 minutes of instruction on how they work. I knew absolutely NOTHING about e-bikes, but now I feel like an expert. Both my daughter and I left with an ebike that I absolutely LOVE. Well, we didn't actually leave with both as only one would fit in my daughters SUV and we had no bike rack. Marc offered to stay late so we could take the one bike home and come back for the other. We declined his offer, however, he insisted it was no problem. This was late on a Saturday and he was so graciousl. He saw how excited we were to have our bikes and they are closed on Sunday and Monday's, therefore we were able to get our bikes that day, due to his generous offer. Thank you so much Marc!!

Friendly service and quick turn around on repairs
I had a great experience with he bike lane. I dropped my bike off for a tune up and front derailleur replacement. They were able to salvage the current derailleur and get my bike in great condition same day. Will definitely be back in the future.

Bike Lane is a great local bike shop. The staff is very helpful with great advice on purchases and the bike techs do great work.
Bike Lane also sponsors kids group rides at the local bike park as a way to give back to the community.
The team at Bike Lane was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The website is also good, and I was able to find the products I wanted to buy before I went in the shop. I was able to get an accessory that I’m really excited about!
Timely repairs, accurate estimate.
Had Bill do a bike fitting and although he recommended and made only minor tweaks, during the 10 miles I wrote afterwards I could feel a big improvement in comfort and rising efficiency. He explained exactly what he was doing and why he was recommending changes, and it all was easy to understand, and made sense. He also found a problem with the rack attached to my bike which could have been a major inconvenience for a big trip I have coming up. Can’t wait to take my other bike in for a fitting!

I like that I can have things shipped to the store and not have to pay for shipping costs. I also like the variety of products offered. However the best part about the Bike Lane is the folks who work there. They are always very patient and helpful.
