great customer service
Products I can generally get anywhere. The shop is a pleasure to walk into, always clean and organized. Bike selection is fantastic. 
Sales staff has been fantastic and very accomedating; setting up bike and making small adjustments. 
We’ve spent around 10k there this spring, and it’s nice to be treated so well. 
It was my wife’s first time doing all the research on the bike she wanted and walking in on her own and staff made it a pleasurable and positive experience.  
The customer service provided by Mr. B. Robinson went above and beyond. For this very reason I would highly recommend anyone in need of anything bicycle related to deal with Sweet Pete's Bike. However, I have not received the parts I ordered to relay the quality or their fit.
When I dropped my bike off on Sunday, June 8th, I was quoted ~$100 for all the discussed repairs (materials plus service), and was told that my bike would be ready by Wednesday, June 11th at the latest. I was also told that any additional work/repairs would be discussed over the phone before anything was done. Wednesday rolled around and I didn’t hear anything from the store but decided to give a day buffet so called on Thursday and they said that my bike was scheduled for June 22nd. After chatting more they said they would take a look at it ASAP and I received a text message at the end of the day saying it was ready. I was shocked when I picked up my bike that the total came to ~$450 and I hadn’t received a call about any additional work or cost. Part of the reason I left my bike at the store and didn’t attempt some of the repairs myself was that I was pleased with the cost, at least the original cost. Know what I know after the fact, there is no way that I would’ve had everything done that I did. There was also a new rotor put on that added ~$100 to the bill without me being asked. And had I not followed up, the deadline would’ve been missed by over a week. All in all, fairly disappointed and likely will not be come back for future service.

NB:  I live in the northwest end of Mississauga, a Sweet Pete's return trip is 1 3/4 - 2 1/2 hours of driving (+gas).
Brought my bike down for a tune-up (noting beforehand that I knew the drivetrain needed work but that I was going to deal with that later).  Play (bushing and spacer) at top of rear shock was what I was most interested in having addressed.  Received a call not too long after getting and was told too much work had to be done... and it was all or nothing (or buy a new bike), no option to have a portion of the work done ("priniciple, safety concern").  Asked if I could initial/sign something acknowledging the state of certain components?  Nope.  So, another 2+ hour drive back down to pick up the bike.  Purchased 3 bikes here (yes... a while back), have always been happy with the Customer experience (the reason I choose to make the drive).  Really, really bad taste in the mouth after this one.

The staff was knowledgeable, polite, patient and quite helpful. The atmosphere was quite and comfortable. The knee and elbow pads that I bought are working out great.
I was looking for a bike repair stand, and I was happy to see the my LBS had it in stock at a competitive price. Pete's has always been a great place to get stuff, and staff are helpful and nice.
