Had what I was looking for
the service at Sweet Pete's is always professional, personal, and done with a smile.
Good online selection.
The service I had on my bike - wrapping new bar tape - was great. My only comment would be to ask your staff (who are great) to be as realistic as they can about how long service will take.
I called ahead to ask if the mechanics had time to do my service on the spot, and was told they could. When I arrived I was told that wasn’t possible but it would be done in good time. A few hours later, I was told it might still be a while. I only got the text saying my bike was ready 15 minutes before closing.
That’s fine - that’s a reasonable time to take. But I would have wasted a lot less of my own time if I’d been told up front, “We might need until the end of the day.” If in doubt, please give conservative estimates!

Great selection of bikes in a clean and well organized space, but it is the knowledgeable staff and mechanics that make this a great bike shop. They also do fittings which are well worth the investment.

Pete's shop is a great place for bikes. Everyone is super nice and approachable. Pete himself was incredible to work with, he helped me out after my first bike was stolen, empathizing with me and making sure I got a new bike I was happy with and taught me about some better locking and tracking solutions. He went above and beyond and I can't say enough about how grateful I am. Best bike shop ever!

Better communication. If you say a couple of days, it should be a couple of days and not a month. When I dropped my bike off, had I known that the parts needed to be ordered and that you had been having difficulty getting some parts in, I would have forgone the replacement. But instead I called every couple of days asking for updates that were just guesses.
