Honest straight forward advice
Friendly service, found what I needed on web site a was able to arrange the pickup in a very timely manner.
I appreciate that you select high quality bikes in your store. I know the bikes I have to choose from are all going to be great, will hold up over the years, and are a great value for the price.
Good selection and service
Best balance of price and in-store availability, or speed if it needs to come from the warehouse. I do A LOT of research before buying and keep coming back to Sweet Pete's more often than Amazon and other bike stores.
Customer service is incredible. Very friendly and eager to assist. They were as excited about me buying a new bike as I was. When I had payment issues they reached out and made sure I had options and kept my order on hold while I sorted it out. There are a lot of good bike shops in this city but Sweet Pete's stands out.
105 cranks
I was very pleased to find that you could supply two 24" (odd size) Cargo bike tires from Schwalbe. I tried at least 6+ bike websites with no luck, including Schwalbe North America.
The staff was very helpful and really nice. Great service and the bike we rented was amazing.
Good customer service.
Staff are always friendly, expertly professional, and efficient.
Incredibly helpful service, low pressure and I'm very happy with the bike!
A very friendly and professional staff that answered via email immediately and accommodated my rental without any issues.
The bike and setup was just perfect!
I would definitely recommend this store for both purchase and rental of bikes.
It took a while but service was good
I received a phone call letting me know the product I ordered was no longer available and they quickly found a solution that worked for me. It was handled quickly, professionally, friendly and polite. It saved me a significant amount of time trying to find another solution.
Customer service was great
Great deals and wide selection of products available from a Canadian site.
1) It was great that you have an extensive list of parts online. Even though I chose to pickup, being able to order, and getting an email when the order was ready, was super helpful. I actually have a great store for repairs and service in my neighbourhood - but I went, their service people were tied up, they had to look stuff up - it was just easier to get stuff from your shop.
2) It was great to find parts listed for older bicycles like mine
3) While I was in the store, I had forgotten that my helmet was due for replacement - I didn't get the name of the person who helped me, but they were great.
Honestly, it is a great vibe, passionate people
Old bike, some parts are no longer manufactured. They did a very detailed inspection, good quality repair work, and some smart ‘make work’ fixes where parts were unavailable. Helped me to source some long-term fixes for those ‘make work’ problems outside of their own shop. Bike is running great.
The name brands and availability
Great service. Dealt with Jordon who was super knowledgeable and very nice dealing with me and my son. Good selection of bikes and prices are competitive with everyone else
Very nice.
It's a good assortment of products and services. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and answered my questions very honestly. I really appreciate the laid back atmosphere.
Good selection. Fast shipping. Local!
Efficient, informative
I brought my bike for a regular tune up that I do on a yearly basis. Nothing was wrong with it when I brought it. I needed the chain to be replaced and a clean up.
The guy who took the bike was very nice and checked it. He told me he didn’t see anything special to be done. He even took measurements of the cassette sprocket and all.
I got a call and was told of all kind of things that needed to be “changed”. I ended up with a bill of $260. I figured that my bike would be almost like new.
Right away I could hear a noise at the back. I brought it back, the guy (very nice) looked at it did some “ajustements” took it for a ride and came back telling me he could hear a sound but just at times and it wasn’t much. I left and this time they were sounds from 2 different places and not just a little.
One around the cassette and the first one I later discovered that my back rack is now broken and the first rattling sound come from that.
At the store, I said it sounded to be around the back rack but the guy couldn’t see anything wrong. I did say that it didn’t make a sound when I brought it but I wasn’t given any solution. I decided to leave and figure out what next. I’ll go back next week and see what I’m proposed.
But at this point even though I’ve been a client at SweetPete’s for several decades I don’t think I’ll go back. My friend reminded me that was my 2nd bad experience at Sweet Pete’s.
People at the store are usually very kind and nice but the work doesn’t reflect the bill.
The Service was great. I found it a bit expensive but on the other hand I feel good about the work that was done
Ensure bike shifter is properly tuned before returning customer bike

Highly knowledgeable and excellent customer service. I bought my first bike from them over 10 years ago and have been a happy repeat customer since.
