The bicycle was set up almost perfectly. Needed the seat back a centimetre. I went for my first ride yesterday, 45 km on gravel trails. The bike behaved perfectly. The 35 mm tires were the right choice. Between the tires and frame the absorption of the gravel was first rate. I would recommend the Trek ALR 5 without hesitation.
I love the setup during pandemic (purchase online and wait for email to pick up at store curbside). For new bike purschase, I feel it needs a different line to allow more time for store reps to explain about the new bike, ride test and do any adjustment as needed before leaving the store

We had great service from everyone we worked with at Sweet Pete's. In these unusual times, we were able to communicate via email, get really great advice from the staff on what to get and pick up safely and we are thrilled with our new bikes and love that we have this great shop in our neighbourhood!

Excellent quality and service
Ordered a bike online, recommended by Brent. Great bike and great service. I wasn't sure the bike was a good fit physically once I got it- but Brent recommended on a new stem, said I could still return the bike if it didn't feel good. Turned out great. The 30 day return is great, especially when you can't test bikes out in advance.
Rob dropping the bike was helpful at adjusting the seat when it arrived.

Great service by John Fornasier. Took the time to call me on a Friday at 9pm after store hours to talk to me about a bike rack where I wanted to see if there was another suitable option to better meet my needs.

Very fast delivery, thank you. I would have preferred a cheaper, slower shipping option. $15 for shipping to small Avid X0 Trail Pad Spreader Tools from Toronto to Ottawa is expensive.
