Winston and Nick were the people I dealt with the most there. They were knowledgeable friendly and prompt with the service. The store was well supplied friendly atmosphere.

We left two bikes. One to get a tune up and one to repair a lever of a hand break. My wife missed a call from the shop but before she has a chance to call back all the repairs were made + some additional tune up we didn’t need. In the end we ended up spending much more then we wanted to. It would be great to connect over the phone to approve costs for the labor that is being done. Thanks

Helens Cycles in Manhattan Beach has it all. Great products (bikes, e-bikes, components and other cycling equipment), an incredibly knowledgable and friendly staff plus reasonable prices for sales and service. I have been a cyclist for over 50 years and it feels like I am meeting with family when I walk into Helens and talk to Daniel, Greg, Seth, Edgar, Armando and rest of the gang. They always have genuine smiles on their faces when they see me and, as busy as they often can be, they all knew my name after I had been to the the shop only a handful of times. Depending on how many people are in the store at the time they love to talk cycling with you, as they are all avid cyclists themselves. This enables them to connect with their customers in a very unique way.
Probably what people most want to know about Helens that are just interested in their products and services, is that they will not try to sell you things you don't need. Heck, from time to time I have even been talked out of buying more expensive components or equipment for my racing bikes. How often do you find an establishment that is trying to make money, as all businesses are, do that?!
In short there are not enough superlatives to describe the experience of doing business with Helens Cycles in Manhattan Beach. But don't take my word for it - go in and see for yourselves. As the old adage goes seeing is believing!

I had my bike served and took about 4 days.I ask if everything is okay ,if any issues that I have to aware of ...I was told -no issues. During my pick up I noticed someone adding air to my front tire .
I pick up my bike and test ride it ,was okay but the very next day the tire was complexly flat .
$140 service and the front tire sealant is gone -what else I can say ?

It was my first time shopping at Helen’s Cycles and it was a great experience. You can tell the team is very knowledgeable and willing to help. Very happy with my pannier basket. I needed help getting a rack and they were able to determine what was a good fit for my bike and order it for me. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.
