I love Helen’s store owner. He went out of his way to help me when I returned a bike I didn’t like. He gave me the one I wanted and made it available to me at a price I could afford. Kudos to Helen’s . Best Bike Store in Los Angeles..

He has done so over a course of many years and so he has demonstrated during these years total trustworthiness and technical expertise for decades. I brought in my Cervelo Soloist for a front wheel and handlebar replacement and the repair team did a great job communicating and were speedy through the whole process
When I went into the Santa Monica store the salesman said there were no bikes available in my price point matching my wishes, but I ended up ordering one online from the bike brand that matched my criteria and was listed in stock at the Santa Monica store. The sales guy was also condescending on my initial visit.
We were helped by an excellent, knowledgeable, no nonsense salesperson. The experience was efficient and satisfying. Left with great new bikes for my young daughter and me. Took our first family ride the next day!

great service department
I bought a bike, paid extra for a kickstand, realized that a different (cheaper-looking) kickstand was installed than the one on the receipt and website. I had to go back to the store after 2 days to “politely” point out to the cashier that I think a different kickstand was installed. She immediately gave me an attitude and said that the bike doesn’t come with a kickstand and made it look like it was my mistake even though she’s holding my receipt in her hand. I calmly told her I paid extra for the kickstand and it doesn’t look like the one on your website. She then told me to take the bike to the service department where they did realize it was a different kickstand and proceeded to install the correct one. The service department gentleman (I think Ever was his name) was very friendly and courteous, the cashier lady, not so much…and this was on top of the incorrect part that was installed on the bike in the first place.
I brought a bike in for a brake repair. Everything was done super fast, and the guys filled the tired, oiled the bike, etc. It's like a new bike -- and for a cheap price!
