I brought my Antelope 830 bicycle in for an "overhaul" because the tires and other components had well over 25 years of use. Vince took my old bike, put it on a stand and suggested to me what would be required to bring this bike into riding condition. The cost was a little more than I had anticipated but after seeing the final repairs, I was very pleased. I now have basically a brand new bike that fits me and my riding needs. The staff and manager are great and I would highly recommend this business for any bicycle repairs or purchases!

The two gentlemen who helped me were so nice and helpful, unlike other bike shops I had looked at. I had looked in the store for a recumbent bike, but there wasn't one. When I found one on Craigslist, the guys at Golden Bear were just as nice when I brought it in for repairs. The work on my bike was superb. I will always to go Golden Bear from now on.
Friendly knowledgeable staff....nice looking store...this was the first time I learned that bicycle tire inflation pressures depend on the weight and size of the rider AND that different front and back tire pressures are recommended. The staff was very helpful and patient in helping me decide which bike model to buy. Love my new Trek bike..still getting used to the bike seat, though!

The staff was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. I could tell they were extremely busy but went out of their way to install my accessories on my new bike purchase. I could tell they were seasoned staff and client experience was their main goal. It’s service like this that is missing in most business today.
The staff are wonderful! They are courteous, knowledgeable and welcoming. They listened and delivered! I’m a novice biker so I have tons of questions and the staff genuinely love to help and educate. There is a wide array of products and services. The store is big and clean, has a nice clean restroom. The location is good and easy to find. They communicate well with the customers. So awesome to have a wonderful bike shop up north people are can depend on.
They did only what I needed. It was an older bike and I'm sure there were other things that might need fixing but they didn't price gouge and got me back riding quickly.
