The prices were better than other stores we had checked, and the customer service was excellent. My wife and I were never talked down to, and the store worked with us to find us the perfect bikes for ourselves. We'll definitely be visiting Golden Bear Bikes again.

Customer service was a 10. We were sent to several bike shops (by another shop) looking for a specific bike with no luck. We ended up at golden bear 20 mins before closing. They made sure we got a bike my son loves.

I came into this shop looking to replace my go-to bike shop back home. Now before coming to this shop, I had previously visited 2 other bike shops in the area to get a feel for their store and staff. I explained to all the stores my current needs - damaged my handlebars and potentially the bike itself on the trip to CO. I was looking for advice and what I could possible do next. If I had to replace my handlebars, no problem I understand but show me what you have or advise me my options. The first 2 stores I visited either gave off the vibe of not wanting to help or an elite-ist making you feel insignificant for not knowing everything about bikes or not having the best gear. I was missing my old bike shop and feared I'd never find one as good. Third times a charm. I walked into the shop about 30 minutes before close, just like the previous 2 to see how the employees would act like. Ian instantly greeted me to see how I was doing and what brought me in. We had a great casual conversation of my bike woes. Mike also joined the conversation and was also a pleasure to talk to. Both Ian and Mike talked but most importantly - LISTENED to my concerns and what I wanted to do. They offered some great suggestions and even with the store about to close asked if I wanted to bring in my bike that evening for them to look at it. I said I'd be back the next morning and thanked them for their time. I was back the next morning and both Ian and Mike were busy with customers but instantly recognized me and said 'hello' and 'good seeing you again' before finishing helping out their customers. Ian looked over my bike and brought me to a service tech - Darren ( I apologize if I misspelled your name). Darren was just as great as Ian and Mike. Showed me options and gave me pros and cons for the choices they had. Looked over the bike as well to see if there was any more damage from the move. Thankfully nothing else was damaged. We talked things through and he got it checked in and scheduled for service, which was a week+ out. This is the normal turnaround time I'm seeing wherever I go, if not longer . The service was great! They finished sooner than I expected. A young lady greeted me when I returned. I apologize for not getting her name but she was the nicest young lady you ever could meet. Extremely welcoming and helpful. She found my bike and let me give it a test drive. I swear it rode better now than after I was originally fitted! The bike looked and rode great. I talked more with Mike and he was very helpful with suggesting some bike trails near my area which I will be trying very soon. I apologize to the readers who are reading my novel but hopefully I painted a picture of what this bike shop is and can do for you. I can rest easy now knowing I've found my new go to bike shop for all my needs.
