Friendly and knowledgeable service
Came in to box up two road bikes for an out of state move. Also requested tune ups to both before packing. The service tech told me he would likely undo some of the work when packing the bikes and didn't want me to waste money. The honesty was refreshing and I felt my best interests were at the forefront.
Before the work was completed, another tech called to confirm some details and make sure I would not be shipping the bikes so that a larger box could be used. He didn't have to call, but I really appreciated the attention to detail and care taken.
When picking up the bikes the employee checking me out helped me carry them to my car.

I had the BEST experience at Golden Bear Bikes! I didn't catch everyone's name but when I brought in my bike - the staff spent about 10 minutes with me going through everything about the tune up. Took the time to thoroughly inspect my bike and offer some less expensive solutions. I have a 10 year old carbon fork TREK that I LOVE and he never tried to upgrade me - just gave her an affordable facelift. At checkout, same treatment. He went over everything that was done and made sure I was happy. Rode for the first time this season and it was like a whole new bike! Love the friendliness and great customer service! Thanks for everything!

What a great place. We were in town for a few days from Iowa.. Had some problems with my wife's bike. Golden Bear worked us in the same day and we were out biking as planned. The service and the cost was great.
Always willing to help out and give great advice, sometimes even making small/quick repairs free of charge as long as I come back and see them, which I always do because they’re great!! They are friendly and remember me every time I walk in. Best bike shop in the area.
