Lexi was incredibly helpful during the purchasing process for my wife's bike. She took the time to show her different models, explained the pros and cons of each of them, and patiently answered all of her questions. We were thoroughly impressed with her product knowledge and for being so patient with us. Thank you Lexi!
The service in store was fantastic. Becky (I believe that was her name) was very friendly and helpful. She even had accessories already picked out for my fiancé's new bike ( a few different bells as well a basket). I ended up choosing the champagne pour bell as it was perfect for the occasion with my fiancé's birthday and her picking out her wedding dress that day.
The bike is beautiful and my fiancé loves it. We went on its maiden voyage and she said it was very comfortable and easy to ride.

They have the excellent bikes. Over the years, I have come to depend on them to know what I should be riding. It feels like family there. It's a place where "everyone knows your name".

This is a quick shout out to the team at Chain Reaction Bikes in Redwood City, and in particular to Steve and Mike for thier exceptional customer service and Mike’s attention to detail when handling a maintenance issue with my fairly new Trek.
The “bike” was complaining with the dreaded unknown squeak that was apparently coming from the bottom bracket. I brought the bike in after noting that the squeak occurs during cold rides in the morning, sub 50 degree F.
With that info, Mike dove in and fixed the issue. I tested it over 2 early morning rides the follow weekend. No squeak, no rattle, zip, silence… actually I heard a little “hum” from the bike, apparently a very happy “Chain Reaction”.
Mike not only gets the job done, but keeps exceptional notes on the issue and explains it back to me in layman’s and engineering terms which I do understand !
Way to go Mike and Steve…

I searched several bicycle shops to find my bicycle. Chain Reaction found the exact bicycle I wanted and the perfect size. The Staff was very helpful, answered my questions, and adjusted the bike to fit me. After, a casual test ride, I bought the bike from the best shop in the Bay Area.
They are friendly, very knowledgeable, and go the mile mile to make sure bicycle is ready.
