We just felt when we were just starting to look for an e-bike very pressured to buy. The people at oak mtn and homewood were just much more personable and laid back. No pressure.
Bikes were not ready when arrived.
Asked if the rack purchased for a previous bike bought here would fit and was told it would. It does not fit because of the mountain bike tire size.
Love this place and the people but disappointed that i have to now look for a new rack. Unless Cahaba can help.
Friendly helpful folks working there. They repair or attempt to repair in a timely manner. They are also very reasonable on their prices. I like that they have a convenient location just outside of Oak Mountain State Park. I would highly recommend them.

Cahaba Bikes is the place to go for all of your biking needs. I bought my bike from them as well as a great bike rack. I took my bike in for a tuneup before leaving for vacation with my bike. They handled some warranty work on my breaks and did a great job getting my bike in tip top condition.

Cabana Cycles carries the highest quality bike parts and accessories. If there is an item that you want that they don’t have in stock, it can be ordered for pickup.

As usual, I went in wanting immediate service. They worked me in quickly and had me on my way in about 20 minutes.

After our last ride on our Trek road bikes we realized we had reached the end of that kind of riding. We don't get to ride enough and age caught up with us much too quickly. We still enjoy riding but the good trails and safe roads for our road bikes are over an hour from our home. Lucky for us, while finishing our last Trek ride, we met a couple our age who had just got into e-bikes. They had 2 Aventon 3's and loved them. After doing some research we decided to go to Cahaba Cycle in Trussville and have a look. I spoke with Chris on the phone and set up a meeting for Saturday morning. He was very helpful and answered all our questions. We came home, did more research and decided it was time for change. We called Chris back the following week and purchased 2 Aventon 3's. Mine is a step over and my wife's is a step through. We picked them up yesterday. Again, we had more questions. Thank you Chris for being patient and professional. We purchased our Trek road bikes there in 2016. They have been very good bikes. Chris explained the technology and setup of our new Aventon e-bikes. After returning home yesterday, we got to ride them around our farm. They were lots of fun and very easy to ride. We have a trip planned tomorrow. Hopefully the e-bikes can keep us active for another decade. Thanks again Cahaba Cycle, and thank you, Chris!
The Trek bikes are great quality and the Cahaba Cycle staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They are very welcoming every time you visit the store. Both John and Deason at the Oak Mountain location made our latest experience of purchasing a Fuel EX 8 GX one of the best experiences ever!
Scott is amazing ! He knows his products, very knowledgeable and caring that you get the right products for you . I went in looking for a simple bike seat left with 2 helmets , gloves and a really good bike rack at a very fair price!
