I was helped as soon as I walked in and it was the only bike shop among several in Brooklyn that was well stocked with various XL bicycle helmets.

I never learned how to take care of my bike. Bought it from you guys and always bring it in when I have a problem. You always treat me fairly and with kindness
After paying over $500 for parts and labor i found that the incorrect tires were put on, that had to get replaced. The tires put on were cheaper than what I had paid for. Additionally I had a lock bracket that was replaced with a bracket that did not resolve the issue, the technician on site agreed that I was overcharged for that part. The new brake pads that were put on were also contaminated and to be replaced. I was refunded for the bracket and given a refund of $50 for a poor experience. I still ended paying $430 for parts and labor and had to wait a total of an hour when I showed up to pick up my serviced bike. Lastly, it was found after leaving the shop that my chain and gears are still not working properly, which I had paid to have serviced and replaced. I still need to come back and have that fixed. My experience was poor, despite nice customer service and an understanding that the original servicing of my bike was not up to standards. This is the 3rd time I’ve had my bike serviced at this location where parts were improperly installed and needed additional work. Despite nice customer service in store it was overall a very poor experience and has left me looking for a new bike shop.

Fill up my tires properly during a time-up. (Got 3 blocks away when I realized the tires were as low as when I brought them in. Tech filled when I returned.)

I went in on a Saturday afternoon. The store didn't feel customer focused. I was wanting to get help in picking out a helmet and ensuring it was the right fit bc you know ... optimal safety. But it felt like i would have gotten the same service / assistance if i had just ordered the helmet through the internet from any random store (eg, a conglomerate). It definitely didn't feel like the customer engagement that I've experienced back at the Lafayette location.

The salesperson I spoke to initially ["Jeff", I think] spent lots of time explaining things to me.
He was very professional and helped me judge what I needed/wanted and patiently waited while I test rode four bikes.
I live next store to the shop and it's so convenient to stop by for anything I need. The mechanic always does a nice job and even fixes some things that he discovers that I didn't ask for, which is appreciated. (For example, I was having new tires put on and he changed the brake pads and did a full brake adjustment, which was needed since the brakes had become squishy and were probably not safe.) The employees are also friendly.
The person that assisted me was extremely helpful. Kudos to him and the team.
