I went to get some air for my new bike and had a few questions in regards of the tubeless bike that I had purchased, no one care to help except Tony, he was very helpful… everyone else was just interested in selling a bike … I had to remind them a few times that I had purchased the bike on their location in Brooklyn and if I had to go back to Brooklyn for a few concerns And questions because at first no one care to help. Again thanks to Tony My questions were answered.

I brought my bike in for service on 6/11/2024, and wasn't notified it was ready to be picked up. When I called on 6/18 to check on it, the guy on the phone said my bike had been ready 3 days earlier. When I said I wasn't notified, he said the mechanic who worked on my bike wasn't skilled at using the computer. When I picked up the bike, there was no apology for holding my bike 3 days longer than necessary, and after paying nearly $500, no proactive explanation that there's a warranty on repairs. (I only found out there's a 30-day warranty, after I asked.) I expect more from Bicycle Habitat, especially since I've had great experiences with mechanics Tim, Adam, and Carlos.

Replaced a tube and tire. Made adjustments to the brakes which was not in the scope of the original job. Did the work while I waited. It was efficiently done. The price for parts and labor were very fair.
It's been ages since I purchased a bicycle locking device. There are many choices out there. But I was educated on what is good and what is not so good.
The time and care that I received made it easy for me to select a good one for my needs.

The mechanic was very helpful when I brought my bike in for servicing. He explained that he’d do an assessment and then let me know what needed to be done. After about 10 mins he told me what he could do and how much it would cost. I had my bike back in just a couple of days. Great service!

They are very honest about what I do or do not need to spend money on. After many years of them letting me know that I didn’t need to spend money on services or products I was considering, when I went in another time and they insisted I did need to spend a lot of money on a repair, I totally 100% trusted them because of their past honesty. And that trust brings me back to them rather than any other bike shop.
