The team at Bicycle Habitat in Chelsea NYC is top notch. They are super knowledgeable, friendly and overall a great group of people ready to assist with your bike needs. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable with your purchase and provide stellar customer service. Would 100% recommend this shop

Issue wast thoroughly explained, felt rushed and pressured. Repair and replacement cost twice as much as the three other bike stores I’ve had it done at elsewhere in New York.
I spent a good 2 minutes in and left with what I needed. Calling before arriving was great too, they picked up so fast. The staff is really friendly and helpful.
Jeff is a smart mechanic and personable. I was seen in a timely fashion and my bike was ready when they promised.

Everyone was super friendly, quick, and attentive. After I had dropped my bike off for what seemed like just a flat tire, the technician was nice enough to run across the street and let me know of a larger issue and clear the procedure with me before going forward - what a homie!

Bicycle Habitat is always on it. Ive been their customer for many years. They fixed my breaks and adjusted my handlebar setting. All is great because my bike is ready to ride safely.
The technician I worked with was super helpful!
I recently called the shop to ask about the status of a repair. I was on hold for 10 minutes and when the person came back on the line they had no idea where my bike was or what the status was. They made no effort to extend any effort to help me and when I said I would just take the bike unfinished, their answer was "okay".

It's the perfect neighborhood/community bike shop, run by friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff.
