I wound up buying an item I didn't want in the end.
I was quoted a different price and situation than I ended up receiving. The bike I was originally quoted was given away to another rental customer by accident, so I was given a more expensive bike. I totally understand accidents happen, but I was then charged for 1/3 of the bike cost versus 1/2, which is what I was quoted. There wasn't much understanding of the situation from my perspective, just the reiteration that I would be on the hook for the full cost of the more expensive bike (in spite of no terms of rental or agreement to clarify what might jeopardize my deposit). I think the haze of the situation made it so that there wasn't an offer for a helmet or bell like the website suggested, but maybe that is not a part of the service anymore.
The staff appeared knowledgeable and friendly, and the bike was great, so I have no problem purchasing from the store in the future, but I wouldn't redo or recommend the rental element unless there's slightly more structure to protect both the store and the patron. Thank you!
I had an excellent experience at Bicycle Habitat. Not only did I buy my bike here, but the service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff conducted a thorough bike fit, walking me through every step to make sure everything was perfect for my needs. They also guided me in choosing the right upgrades to enhance my ride. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and the overall service, and I highly recommend this shop to anyone in the market for a new bike or professional advice.

Although the employee did get me the bike kickstand that I needed. they overcharged me for the product. They charged me $25 Bontrager kickstand which should have been $12.99 on Bontrager's website. Instead, they rung me up for a sunlite kickstand, which was not the correct product. Very dishonest sales.

I brought in a Brompton to be serviced. they are pop of the line in service, they explained what they fixed with a good amount of detail. They also have a friendly attitude which goes a long way.
