cheerful and helpful.
thanks.
Love the helmets. Simple, pretty and well-designed -- hard to find anymore!
Kind helpful staff
Thanks for the swift repair - and for salvaging, rather than replacing, parts after the accident
I was never contacted to know when my bike was ready. I had to contact you guys and was on hold for 20 minutes and you guys hung up on me. When I called back the girl who answered had a rude attitude and when she kept me on hold for an additional 5 minutes and when she came back she said "sorry yeah your bike is ready,. So are you going to come pick it up?!" At this time it's after 5:00 and you guys close at 6:00 and I live in Queens so obviously that's not enough time to get there so I had to wait till the following morning and when I got there the guy who opened up the gate helped me but he couldn't find my bike and I had to find it myself.
I was told to go here by my employer and that I would get a 10% discount if I tell them I'm from Valkyrie Messengers and I also brought the staff bagels and was told by a girl on the phone that if I bring bagels they would squeeze me in but i didn't get the bike back for 2 days and I need my bike for work.
There were things done to the bike that I originally did not want or could even afford but you guys charged me for it and I didn't think that you would charge $40+ each just to route cables thru the frame
All I wanted done was to flush my cables and have a wheel true as well as new brake pads and you guys only did the front pad not both and I ended up having to pay nearly $190 for a job that wasn't right and not what I asked for originally. My cables were working just fine maybe they needed some love but no reason to just have me get new ones
very friendly and professional service
Adam explained clearly and in detail what needed to be done, and was sensitive to the cost issue
Service guys are great - quick and honest. Have been taking my bike here now for years...
I dropped in for a gear-shifting issue. A mechanic was able to see me almost immediately. He fixed the gearing issue and also fixed a brake issue that I didn't see. I was back on the road in 15 minutes with a smooth shifting (and braking) bicycle.
Josh was helpful and patient picking out a bike. (I knew next-to-nothing!) I'm so happy with my purchase.
Good range of products
Very convenient to order products that are not currently in store
Had a great experience with Libby (have bought two bikes from BH, and both Libby and her brother Jim were great). She accurately sized up what work my bike needed (it had been a while since servicing) and everything turned out great.
Efficient and quality product and work.
Which is essential for my bike as it needs to be reliable in the relatively dangerous NYC streets.
Generally just a good, friendly vibe here every time I come in. Always helpful, with a lack of pretense. A great shop.
Prices seem high
Matt and Bicycle Habitat is A1. He listens to your bike issue, and helps you fix in a smart and innovative manner. When in a pinch, I really on this wrench team to get me back on the road quickly.
Dishonest pricing. You told me parts and labor would be X amount, then after the work was completed, you charged me a lot more. Just be upfront.
Friendly staff, greeted me and pointed me in where to get help. Very efficient to leave bike and get a text with estimate of repairs. Bike is working great, Thank you!
Stuff is always friendly and explain and give me the estimate before fixing the issue.
you guys did not fix my bike at all!!! I was charged 30 dollars and my bike is worse then it was when I brought it:( not very awesome
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Helped my 9 year old son find "the perfect" bike helmet. Was so happy we stopped by and couldn't be happier with the purchase and the service. Thanks so much and it feels good to support local businesses.
Your service is always quick, efficient and friendly and you go the extra mile to fix any small things as needed - such as a loose lock holder, without extra charge. So thank you for that. I have been a customer for around 15 years in Manhattan and Brooklyn and I appreciate the TA discount.
Knowledge, professionalism, friendly and understanding customer needs and provides best advise and support as needed. Great bike shop, simply love it
They're great! Everybody who works here is very nice and helpful.
You always take care of my bike issue right away, and in a professional manner. Thanks!
Nice bikes, friendly staff and good atmosphere
Quick expert service, honest mechanic, helpful recommendations.
I bought a great bike there and had a very informed person helping me.
I get my tune ups at your store and you tell me how best to take care of my bike.
Kate is great! She didn't have a Giro helmet in my wife's size, so she biked (!) to the other store to get it herself. I needed some lubrication for my bike chain and rather than send me next door, she did it herself. My wife loves her new helmet and also a new bicycle seat that Kate helped her select.

Libby and the rest of the staff provide excellent information and service.
