The inventory is curated in a way that narrows the wide range of options available, and that is helpful. And staff members share personal experience with the items, like the balaclava that I bought yesterday.

Staff went above and beyond to help me when my bike turned out to have more serious problems than I thought I had! I've come to Bicycle Habitat in the past and have always had excellent service and quality goods. I will definitely be coming back.
I went there to get a bike break fixed, the staff said they don't have the parts I need but he will order them and call me when it is ready. My credit card was charged and they never called me back. I went to the shop a few times and no one seems to know what is going. In any case, lesson learned. Never again.
