You replaced my rear derailleur cable in 10 minutes! And the mechanic came out and asked me what tire pressure I wanted. Great service!

Service is great and very efficient, but not the price of fixing a flat
Chaos is the only way I can describe my visit to your store. I was willing to overlook that in order to purchase a decent road bike at a reasonable price, put a deposit down in a Tuesday, came on Friday instructed. There was only one guy working at the front, clearly haggard, he went back to talk to the mechanic and then the manager/owner? Yelled at him to go take care of the people at the front (instead of taking care of me himself) guy comes back looks up my order then goes away again to say that there was an issue with the truck and my bike wouldn’t be arriving till Tuesday. That while true wasn’t the actual reason, as an order was never created to bring my bike from BK to NYC. I received a call shortly later saying my bike was being put together and would be brought over for a Saturday delivery, but at that point it was too late. I went and bought a bike at Echelon.
Friendly staff, reasonable prices, neighborhood shop
I’ve been coming to the Vanderbilt location for years and always get the best/quickest service from the repair department. As a working cyclist I often need repairs where I don’t have the skills, tools, or time to perform the task properly before or right in the middle of a shift. The Vanderbilt crew has always been there to rescue me and keep me rolling.

Matt was an incredible person and really walked me through the entire fitting both over email and in person. He was extremely attentive to my physical ailments that made a fitting necessary, plus he provided an extra level of care and attention to detail that made this something I would certainly recommend to others.

There’s nothing like an LBS when you want something done right.
I came in because I had a flat tire and as I was biking off to work, it was flat again. The mechanic did not check to see if there was glass in the rubber..which made it flat immediately. I came back the next day, which is completely out of my way, and was convinced I needed new tires and that I would get a flat continuously if I did not get new ones. Ended up spending a lot of money ... which is fine, considering these new tires are better, but I was not discounted at ALL after all the trouble.
I also got pinhead locks put into my wheels..and the mechanic forgot to give me the pinhead keys. When I came back to get them, no one could find them. It took me coming back and calling multiple times to restore the keys.
Scheduling the appointment was easy.
Libby and the other staff were very polite and knowledgeable, and helped me with all the hardware and other features that I wanted fitted and checked with my new bicycle.

This is the best bike experience we have ever had and especially great for kids! Justine is amazing, helpful and just amazing at her job. She make the experience all worth it!
