I ordered a bike part August 11. It came in October 1. I checked in the store a couple of times and it seemed it hadn’t been order or there was not progress. The last time I went in, which was around the end of September it seemed movement was made because the salesperson said wow you’ve been waiting for awhile. I didn’t need to order the part through the bike store and I did. Since I paid half up front, I waited but I will definitely look around before I order through the store again.
The staff was knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
Staff was friendly. Had the item I needed in stock.
The gloves keep my hands warm
Helpful and attentive mechanics
good and quick service keep up the good work
You were one of the only bike shops to carry the bike and size I was looking for, for almost a year. This is my first Surly bike and the with nearly 100 miles, I’m very happy. The staff were very helpful and allowed me to test the bike out in the nearby park. Would easily recommend them except they are almost 200 miles away.

They work very well and they do it quickly. When I need to fix my bike there is no other place I want to go. It's my favorite bike shop. Everyone is super friendly and does their job very well. They know about bikes.
Got back to me very quickly when I emailed a request for a quote on some repairs. Repairs were made quickly and at the price that was quoted. It wasn't cheap but it was honest and the bike is running great now!
I loved the service because they catered to my every need. For example I needed something shipped overnight and they were able to get it at the last minute for me. The people behind the counter were very helpful and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this bike shop to friends and family.
Service with a smile and explanations!! The perfect way to run a business. Thank you!
Staff went above and beyond the call of duty when I had questions about my bike. Would recommend to anyone!
Excellent customer service and advice.
Matt was extremely helpful and accommodating and the mechanics resolved an issue I had as well.
The person at the counter helped me find what I needed, and also gave me some advice on inner tubes! I would definitely come back again if I need to pick up supplies.
They almost always have the solution to whatever issues you have.
The staff was helpful and well-informed about the products I was inquiring about. Always a pleasure to shop there!
I had phenomenal customer service from Taylor at the Prospect Heights store.
Customer service is always great.
Prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Great bike shop!
Right bikes:, Bike mechanics are on point . Great service!!!!!…. THANK MATT!,
I’ve visited numerous times, and every time I visit it’s a bit chaotic. None of the customers know who is “next in line”, it’s unclear who is a mechanic and who is there to help customers, and asking questions of the staff can mean the customer is just accidentally interrupting the staff as they try to help others. Sometimes it’s even hard to identify who the staff is.
I suggest creating clarity around who is in line to be helped next, that would be massive.
Friendly staff.
Good customer service, friendly staff. My son loves his new bike!
Poor communication, high prices.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff make this one of the best bike stores in Brooklyn. Huge selection of bikes and accessories, too.
Fantastic, fast service. At a great price.
Friendly, competent staff. Quick service.
Friendly customer service.

I’ve been a customer for the past 10 years. The shop used to do minor brakes and gears tune ups for free. When I went in need of that, I spoke with the two salespeople first who said that isn’t the policy anymore but if it’s minor there’s won’t be much of a charge. Seeing the sign for a $5 minimum I figured I’d pay something which was fine. But when the mechanic came out and said it would be $69 just for adjustments and lube, that felt disingenuous. I understand if it can’t be free anymore but to make it sound like it wouldn’t be much to charging $69 feels wrong. I won’t be recommending this shop anymore.
