Excellent service always. I've never felt over-sold, mansplained or spoken down to at any Bicycle Habitat location, and especially as a female who's relatively new to the cycling community, this has been a really important factor in feeling comfortable + trusting my mechanics. I've purchased 6 bikes in 2 years (whoops), and each purchase gets more significant/diverse. I go to Bicycle Habitat first, always. The mechanics always explain what's up, offer me options + help me feel confident that whatever needs to happen is the right choice for my preferences, riding style + budget. Thank you!
The customer service is always incredible here. I have been to many bike shops in many towns/cities. Most make many people, especially women, feel excluded, have intimidating environments, or worse, take advantage of those with less knowledge to charge more for unnecessary repairs. This bike shop and its employees have only ever been extraordinarily kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. In fact, they've fixed a few small things on my bike free of charge, which is why I always bring my bike there and defer to them on what's best. This is across every staff member I've encountered from the mechanics to the other workers. I can't say enough good things about my experience here and I will continue to be a customer due thanks to their expertise, generosity, trustworthiness, and an overall great experience.
