They normally have what I want at their locations or can quickly order it for me. Extremely helpful on the Shimano crank set recall.
Both Mike and Chris were very professional and quite courteous to me as a first-time visitor to their shop. Extremely helpful to fix my current bike same day, and offer up knowledge with advice since I have not been riding for a few years. For anyone looking for a quality off-road or touring bike shop, these guys at Bicycle Cove know their stuff. Just the personal level of service I witnessed with other customers, aside from myself as a new guy in town is a difference maker all together. Plus the business is large enough to actually test ride a bike inside! Very cool concept.

Fix a flat right the first time.
Don’t overtighten the rear axle and make the bike inoperable.
Don’t charge me for labor for redoing the bike right what should have been done the first time.
Lastly, don’t insult the customer by insulting his bike.
It wasn’t all bad. The lady at the counter in Hampton Cove was delightful. And the gentleman in Madison who fixed the error made in Hampton Cove was very helpful and apologetic.

I brought my bike in for a mechanical issue. Chris called me and told me exactly what he recommended as a fix and gave me a quote. I felt the service was timely and received my bike ready to ride for the price quoted. Unfortunately the new chain slipped off the smallest chainring on the front and wedged against the frame on my first ride after the fix so I’ll be bringing it back for another fix.
