The Blendr system is a great example and as an extension the Kindbeam light that focuses light where you need it whilst making a conscious effort to reduce glare for oncoming traffic.

I'm 70y/o and have not ridden a bicycle for more than 30years. The staff listened to me and explained what would be right for me. They were not pushing me to make a sale and therefore l purchased the bike. At the time of pickup they again explained everything.
