I don't think the floors are being mopped every visit, which is discouraging because this is the main reason we initiated your service.

After the team left I called to explain what had been missed. They did what I would call a surface cleaning and missed several key sections -- dust in kitchen crown molding and family room ceiling. In addition they didn't clean the stove top under the covers or on the ground below cabinets in kitchen and under stove. The team came back to do the dusting. Once they left for the second time I noticed that the dust was pushed to my counters and floor. Upon further inspection of my house I noticed a host of areas that were missed which I explained to Trish when she called for follow-up on Friday:
Dust below piano and under shoe rack
Dust behind upstairs toilet
Dust on full bath light fixtures
Dust on top of shower rod holders
Not cleaned behind 2 dressers in master bedroom even though pulled out
Not vacuumed to left of dresser in master bedroom
Dust on top of the only picture hanging in master bedroom
Dust on top of pictures in living room

At that point she offered to have the team come out to get missed spots (which I had cleaned some myself) and gave me a $50 credit from the amount I paid $375 plus a $40 tip.

I sent a follow-up letter on Tuesday 8/2 because quite honestly I was completely frustrated with the job that was NOT done and the amount I paid.
Hoe can you make it right? A full refund.

There are often many things put back in the wrong place. Generally the quality of the cleaning is not great and at times rooms have been skipped, under tables and couches have been missed. A large gymnastics mat has been thrown over a table twice and left there.

some teams are great, some are good but then one day you come home and your kitchen counters
are still dirty and the kitchen floor still has dirt marks.

Overall I am happy with how my house looks when I arrive home.to be fair my house is kept pretty clean on an ongoing process. So it is not so dramatic as it might be for some other clients

The Ladies that cleaned my home were very nice. They were there within the time they told me they were going to be there. I felt very comfortable leaving them alone in my house. When I got home they walked me through what they did and they did a great job. If I ever need my house cleaned again I would call Merry Maids.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

My initial 'deep cleaning' was a disappointment as I had to call back since many things were missed. Unfortunately the crew that came back the second time did not complete everything either. I gave them a list of what was missed and after they left I had to go clean most of it myself. The crews need to pay closer attention to what they are supposed to be cleaning. For instance, the canisters on my counter were missed, and when they returned they must have just wiped them with a dry rag, the lids were still greasy as they're near my stove.

On the surface it looked clean but they didn't clean in all cabinets they did not clean top of all doors and windows, they did not clean well behind the faucets - overall very poor job. This was an empty house prior to move in. Very poorly done. I payed extra for the oven and fridge cleaning and the top of the fridge was not touched and the oven was the same as I left it. The drawer under the oven was not touched there were stains in it which I cleaned. In addition the light fixtures in the bathroom were not touched. Luckily the house was left to us in pretty good shape and I feel I found it the way it was after the cleaning crew left. I can't believe I paid so much money for such a poor job done.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I hired Merry Maids to come in and do a good cleaning so I could just feel good about moving into a new home that we purchased. I wanted to feel like I could come in after they were done and put things away.
1st they were over an 1 hour later than they told me they would be.
2nd I was promised if I booked by a certain date I would get my windows free (keep in mind this would be the inside as I didn't know if they opened and leaned in) my husband thought yes it's a new house they must lean in so I called back and booked for the outside too. The sales rep Tricia then told me that I would pay for the outside since that was additional but the inside is free.

When they were there that day - they were done in 2 hours - originally I was told 5 or 6....for the house of my size.

I looked quickly but 2 of the maids were already done and leaving and I thought quickly it looked good as I was trying to also be with the movers that I had that arrived.

the windows didn't fold down unfortunately - however they were now trying to tell me that it was the outside that were going to be free. I called the next day to explain this and was told the best they could do was give me a credit for $75.00.

I have never been soooo disappointed in anything in my life - I will NEVER recommend Merry Maids to anyone I know - I can send you pictures that I have that me and my sister in law spent hours cleaning the outside of my kitchen cabinets that were supposed to be done by them they were digusting - I have pictures to prove my cleaning of the cabinet 1/2 done to show you.
My friend came over and spent a couple of hours cleaning my windows which now are amazing. I paid $520.00 and I feel like I got robbed I think they vacuumed and that was it - even cleaning of the floors - I took pictures and the corners were disgusting.

I'm still looking for $$ back as I was not given as promised.

I know We only had 1 hour of work but 2 people were here. I felt more could have been done with 2 people working. The bathroom windowsills were not wiped off nor the baseboards. Aside from the window sills being wiped in 2 rooms and vacumed, i dont know what else was done? I guess I expected more. Disappointed for 130.00. Your staff members were nice though.

What do you like about our services and the products used in your home?

Very helpful, courteous and professional. No guest has ever complained of an unkempt or untidy cottage, even after use by dozens of guests over the summer time. I couldn't rent my cottage out without the help of Merry Maids almost every week.

I am extremely disappointed in the cleaning done by Merry Maids. I asked for a full and THOROUH cleaning. I was told Windows would be done, explained the Windows pullout,easytoclean, willing to pay extra. Was also told the mini blinds would be dusted. I found cobwebs and dead ants on the corners of a dining room piece of furniture. The top of a brass reading lamp is filthy, I left the dust on there. I called Heather and she offered to send a cleaning crew in. I asked if a little something off the exorbitant charge could be refunded. I was told that is not your policy. I will never recommend Merry Maids to anyone. Let me just add, your company was called because I felt your company would live up to it's reputation. sorry to say, that is not so. First name removed. Perhaps I should have walked around every room and inspected before the MM left.
