Information given over the phone.
When I made the appointment; I am a first time customer, I was told I would receive a call two days before, letting me know my appointment window. My appointment was scheduled for the Monday following Thanksgiving.
There was a message left by Rachel at ZeroRez on Friday; the day after Thanksgiving. She asked us to call ZeroRez back, then she left your phone number. She rattled it off so fast that I had to listen to the recording three times to get the number. More importantly, she did not leave a time window. This was not only disappointing because we did not listen to the message until Saturday night; gone for the holiday and you are closed on Sundays, but this was contrary to what I was told when I scheduled the appointment. I was told there would be a call with appointment window.
Not knowing what time the carpet tech would show up, I woke at 5:30 AM on Monday and started moving furniture and vacuuming. I figured I would receive a call when your office opened for the day, letting me know when my appointment was scheduled.
By 9:30 I still had not been contacted, so I called customer service. Of course I was placed on hold and listened to the recording talking about how your company values customer service and you schedule two hour windows. Finally I spoke to a rep who told me my appointment was between 2-4 PM. I asked why I had not received a call that morning. She told me that I was asked in the recording to call back to verify my address because sometimes the addresses are entered incorrectly in the system; she did not tell me why I did not receive a call that morning. When I hung up I was fuming; my appointment was late in the day, I never received a notification from your company as promised, and no one even called on the morning of the process. It was disappointing that I had gotten up at 5:30 to get my carpet prepped. What a waste of a morning!
After waiting 30 minutes, I called back and spoke to a different rep, she told me that you do not leave the appointment time on the recording because your scheduling department has to figure out geographic locations. This was a totally different answer from the first rep. At that point, I suspected one of them was fibbing. I asked her that if the call was within two days, shouldn't you have known the time of the appointment. I was so disappointed by the scheduling process that the only thing that would win me over as a future customer was a super clean and professional cleaning job.
That is where your luck changed. Kevin showed up on time, he was courteous, personable, and informative. He did a FANTASTIC job. Our carpets are the cleanest they have been since installation.
I will use ZeroRez again despite the poor notification procedure.

Prompt and courteous.
We have used ZeroRez at least 2 times in the past and we were very happy with the results. This time, our carpets feel crunchy, still spotted and they just don't look good. I was telling my husband, our carpets are close to 10 years older now and maybe this is how it's going to be. Yes, very disappointed for the amount of work we put into getting ready. I don't expect the carpet to stay looking as good as does today for much longer.
Aaron was very nice. He treated the areas and knew at least one spot that didn't come out.
Zerorez really gets my carpet clean, we have used their service many times. They are neat and I have already recommended the company to many neighbors. We live in a gated community,
Service was 10 star. Carpets and Rugs appear beautifully clean (on the surface). However, the Zerorez system does not remove dirt from deep down in the pile. First I was surprised that I needed to vacuum the areas before cleaning. On our 8 'x 11' living room shag rug, our dog enjoys eating her cookie every evening. Our 6' x 9' wool short pile area rug is near our patio. Since both rugs were taking a long time to dry, I dragged them outside to our patio to dry in the sun. After a few hours, feeling dampness on the bottom of each rug, I turned them over to dry further. After flipping them to bring them into the house, I found at least TWO cupfuls of cookie crumbs from under the shag rug and at least ONE cupful of fine sand under the wool rug. After cleaning the rugs and the carpets still have a substantial amount of dog hair. But it is clean dog hair now. Granted, our vacuum doesn't seem to be picking up the dog hair well, but I would think a professional system would be able to suck up cookie crumbs, sand and hair. But again, the top of the fibers in all areas of our home look good one day after cleaning.
My carpets look great! I will definitely be using Zeroes in the future!

Friendly and knowledgeable technician
It was very easy to schedule my appointment, they got me in really quickly. The technician, Steve, showed up on time as scheduled and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He cleaned the floors and they look awesome! It didn't take very long at all and it costs a lot less than I was expecting. He did not put pressure on us trying to up sell his services. Its really awesome that it's done with water and not chemicals! Very professional and reliable. I will definitely use Zerorez again and maybe a little more frequently. I will recommend to my friends.
