Our previous Zerorez visit was to correct a not well completed stone cleaning. The operator on the second visit, Robert Keith, did a remarkably better job and immediately elevated our opinion of the company's products and services to a "I'll call them again" level. This time we bought the wooden floor/carpet cleaning special and requested Robert who arrived with Tim. Robert cleaned the carpets and Tim did the wooden floors. Our floors are bamboo without a poly-coating. I had no preconceived idea what the results would be relying on my frame of reference of the previous stone cleaning which was a major improvement and provided a level of trust and confidence about both the Zerorez products and services rendered.

To be very candid, neither my wife or myself noticed any significant differences with our bamboo floors. They didn't look any different than when our housekeeper mops them down. Some of the existing spots (heel marks, etc) were still present and some were removed. While I didn't expect my floors to look like new, I was anticipating seeing something different than what they were.

I increased the order, bought a recommended carpet protecting sealer and had an area rug cleaned but when the bill was presented, I balked at the cost. We negotiated a lower cost and I'm sure I didn't earn any 'brownie points' with Robert but I thought the initial cost was just too high. We should have discussed it prior to the work commencing, but we didn't.

My conclusion is that I would hire Zerorez for carpet cleaning, but I'm leery of other products because I don't think they perform to the same high level as the carpet cleaning process does. Tim worked hard on cleaning our floors and was sweating profusely, but based on the amount of energy he expended, we just didn't see any improvement in the appearance of the flooring and that's to be construed as a reflection on Tim's work. Without sounding callous, knowing what I do now, I wouldn't have bought that wood cleaning service/product. Maybe the process works better on poli-coated hardwood floors, but based upon my experience, I wouldn't recommend it if asked.

He put to much water on the floor. It took 2 days to dry my floor with the heater on.

Eduardo was very polite, professional, and conscientious in the way that he did his job. We appreciated the "extras" like corner protectors in doorways, towels on our wood floors, and the careful way that he wiped up in moisture on our wood floors as part of his clean-up process. The cleaning process itself was also excellent--our carpets look great!

Michael was able to remove a large dark stain (coffee ?) from the middle of my living room
that appeared after the first time you cleaned my carpet 5 (?) years ago. I was considering replacing it but now I think it will be fine for a few more years.
