I did not like the service rep giving me a song and dance about including a contiguous bedroom closet as part of the three room deal. Then he claimed he was giving me a discount by not charging for the closet. I found this petty and irritating.

This was very different from my previous experiences with Zerorez. In fairness, I have not used the service since my hardwood floors were installed 4 yrs ago. I made the appointment 1 week before, taking the first available time, but the man who came said he was asked to take the job as an add on. He called to make sure I had no stairs. He was very careful working on the four blood drops on my bed's upholstered side rails. The other part of the job was to clean an 8' x 11' hand loomed wool rug. He was dismayed to find that there was furniture on the rug--I told him I would move all the furniture, which I did. I would have appreciated an offer to help. He cleaned the rug without first vacuuming, which was different from my previous experience. When the rug dried, there were still spots on the rug. That's when I realized that, unlike my previous experience with your company, he did not look for or treat existing stains before cleaning the rug. It seemed like he had been talked in to taking this "emergency" appt. and was not pleased to find out it had been scheduled for a week. I assume that the job had not, in fact, been included on anyone's schedule, so no one would have come if he had not agreed to take an extra job. I will now have to find someone else to work on the stains on my area rug. Altogether an unpleasant experience.
