How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

There are still some areas that do not look clean. The last time I used your company the technician really seemed to work hard on my high traffic areas. My carpet had looked great and stayed clean looking for a long time. The guys that came this visit were very nice but I feel they were somewhat in a hurry since it was their last appoinent of the day. Also I think the one that actually cleaned the carpet was being trained. When I questioned about the high traffic areas I was told there wasn't anything to be done. They never treated those areas or work very hard on them. it has been 4 days and my carpet has spots that don't look any better.

Always great professional service and on this trip I had wanted air duct cleaning but your representative told me the air ducts didn't need cleaning - WOW a service person who "unsells" - what a refreshing idea and just makes me continue to be a RAVING FAN.

Technicians are always polite and friendly. You were able to remove a stain that was in a very visible place, in fact so bad that I probably would have replaced the carpet in that room had it not come out. I'm a believer in Zerorez!!!

We love the thoroughness of the carpet cleaning process. No more was done than what was explained. We had several urine stains the Keith (our Zerorez serviceman)and he walked us through the house showing us each stain, explaining the process thoroughly as he went along. We would definitely recommend zero rez! Our stains on the stairs are gone, our carpets are free of urine stains (worth the extra $$) and would definitely recommend. I intentionally waited a week to fill out the survery to see if the stains would return on the urine smells. WE ARE VERY PLEASED!

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Overall the service was very good and the carpets look great. In the past when I have had my carpets cleaned with other companies everything looked great at first but it seemed like the carpets got dingy very quickly. I want to give it some time to make sure the carpets don't get that dingy look right away. So far so good with the carpets still looking great. I guess my only disappointment was that I had to specifically ask that the sofas get moved and cleaned under. When I spoike with the lady while making my appointment she had told me that sofas would be moved. My assumption was that furniture would be moved without me having to ask but that was a mistake on my part. After some hesitation, the sofas were moved and cleaned under but like I said there was some debate on that issue. Also no attempt was made to move the dining room table over slightly and I just didn't have the energy to keep asking for furniture to be moved. I had thought it was part of the service that other than very heavy furniture such as dressers, book shelves, etc other furniture would be moved and cleaned under not cleaned "around"... With that being said Edgar was pleasant and professional and gave me some advice on keeping my carpets clean in the future. He arrived on-time and ready to work which I appreciated. Overall a good job but next time I will specify up front what furniture I want moved and "cleaned under"....

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

When the technician arrived, he immediately started to "up sell" services. The technician asked about problem areas, areas of concern, and pet issues. I explained that we built our house 4 years ago, therefore, the carpet is only 4 years old; when we purchased the new house, we also adopted a new puppy who liked certain areas of carpet (3 specific areas- 2 in dining room and one are in the hallway). The technician explained that for an additional $90 per room- the carpet would be treated with special chemicals that would prevent future odor (keeping in mind the stains are 3 years old) and growth. The technician went on the say that if we were not going to pay the extra money for the pet treatment, he would recommend CANCELLING ANY/ALL CARPET CLEANING SERVICES- and if we chose to have the carpet cleaned without the pet treatment, we would be asked to sign waiver that stains would re-appear and would likely appear larger.

I heard about your revolutionary carpet cleaning methods on the radio and followed up by reviewing your website. After a little more research, I scheduled an appointment on-line to have my carpet cleaned IN PREPARATION FOR A NEW BABY. Not having the carpets cleaned was not an option for me, however, the website offered specials to have 7 rooms cleaned for $250, and the price the technician quoted was almost double at $467. After the technician left, I again reviewed your website and did not even see that pet treatment would be an additional cost, I was unable to find what exactly the $90 per room paid for (ie: the chemicals and treatment that was completed- the technician broke it down to a $40 fee and $50 fee which equalled $90 per room). No where on your website was I able to find the disclaimer that if you have a pet the price will double.

My husband had also moved 90% of our furniture, and wanted to move the couch to make sure that the entire living room carpet was cleaned since my family spends most of our time in the living room; the technician notified us that with wooden legs, the couch could not be pushed back into place on wet/damp carpet as it could leave stains. The technician mentioned that he usually carries wooden blocks to elevate certain furniture (such as couches), but went on to tell my husband that he had used most of them the day before, therefore, we did not clean under the couch.

Also, we had scheduled services for 11 AM to 2 PM; the technician called and asked to come early- for many services this may not matter, however, given the magnitude of having carpet cleaned throughout the whole house, having the technician come over an hour early limited the time we had to prepare the house and move furniture.

The technician also stated the carpets would dry in 3-4 hours, taking up to 6 hours since we did indeed pay for the additional pet treatment. However, 8 hours after the technician left (technician left at 11:45 AM), there were still certain areas of carpet that were wet. My husband was unable to return furniture to the dining room, hallway and two back bedrooms until the following day.

My carpets are clean, however, I do not hink I would use your services again and I would not recommend your services to friends or family who were on a budget or who had animals.

If you want to make me a satisfied customer, you can (1) show me on your website where those with pets would be up-sold for almost double the price on the website if we did not want stains to re-appear even larger, (2) tell me exactly what the $90 extra dollars per room paid for and (3) return that $180 to me.

I was more than prepared to pay for carpet cleaning services, but with carpet that has been well cared for except for a few pet stains from an over eager puppy, I was not prepared to pay almost double. Your advertising and website talk about your exceptional cleaning methods, yet I was basically told that that your cleaning services would not work if I didn't pay this extra money.

What could we do to improve?

Try not to upsell services so much. We hired someone to come clean our carpets at a set price but suddenly the price more than doubles from added treatments? Also it wasn't just a simple one time offer. There were different points where the carpet cleaner tried to upsell us on additional services.

The quality of the cleaning didn't seem to match what we've seen in the past from your company.

I requested Anthony to clean my carpets. I was assured he would do the work. Then 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival, Joe called and said he would be cleaning the carpets because Anthony had the day off.

The service itself was terrific. The guys arrived on time, were quick and efficient, and were flexible about the parking issues. The carpet is clean and looks good. It's simply the price that got me. The pet treatment, especially because no range of price is listed on the website, was surprisingly high - I ended up paying for 2 small rooms what my parents pay for an entire house without pet treatment. So while the work was good, and I'm happy to have a clean home, I will probably seek out less expensive treatment next time, and while recommending the great work, will warn my friends of the high rates not listed on the website.

Also, I was told that should I have another pet stain, to lightly soak up, then apply pressure, then pour hot water over the stain - and that has not made any difference, so I already have another stain, regardless of whatever final element was applied after cleaning.

The pricing was changed several times by your employee while he was hear. I felt like we got ripped off on the kitchen counter cleaning. He told my wife a price $100 less than what he told me and we had to pay the higher price. You need to furnish a list of pricing to the customer so it is not so wishy washy.

Let customers know about carpet protector being striped off and cost BEFORE carpet is cleaned. My tech was very nice
,on time and polite. He got the embedded dirt out of my living room carpe
t in most of the places. Since the carpet was so wet afterwards, I could not tell if he got all the dirty areas until the day after. One really dirty area looks great and two of the other areas still have a grey hugh and dirty look to it. Not sure if someone can come back and redo 2 spots in the living room or not. I believe it will come out of the carpet because the other areas like that did. Thanks!

Well, everyone waas very nice, but there was a 3 hour window to come and clean my mom's carpets, and your man was 15 min.s late, and though he was apologetic and nice, I had had to waste 3 hours out of my day off, to wait for him. I live in Lewisville, and my mom's house is in Fort Worth, so I couldn't sjust leave and come back easily.
I also read on the email you sent me, that your late policy was, that if you were late, you would clean an extra room for free. However, since you were cleaning all the carpets, he could do the extra free room, but I thought he might at least offer a discount or something.
Again, everyone was very nice, but if you want to improve, please be on time, or at least offer a discount for your tardiness. Thank you.
