I’ve always found the employees friendly and genuinely cared about my dog. My only concern with the staff is something that happened a few months ago when the computer system changed. Several times, when clients picked up their dogs, staff openly mentioned that the dogs hadn’t been checked in for the day. That worries me because if a dog isn’t properly checked into the system, there’s no reliable way to verify they’re in your care if something were to happen.
My larger frustration is the removal of the 10-day package. Not everyone can bring their dog in 8–10 times a month. I consistently bought the 10-day package and used it over a few months. I’ve brought my dog weekly for years, sometimes more, and it seems reasonable to expect some form of loyalty discount. I used to recommend Dogtopia to many of my veterinary clients, but I stopped after the package was discontinued. It feels like corporate decisions are taking priority over customer flexibility, and based on what some staff said, many clients were unhappy about this change as well.
Because of that, I no longer bring my dog routinely. Offering more flexible options again would go a long way toward earning back long-term customers like me.

The best team ever. Love Julie she’s reassuring and knowledgeable about dog care! The team is so nice that my dogs are happy when they come back from boarding. We watch the dog camera and both are having fun! Paul is great and always available to assist. Dogtopia is clean and competitive with their prices. The area is clean and smells good. Most especially the grooming after boarding. Both of my dogs smells so good! For reference I have a standard goldendoodle and small AustralianLabradoodle. We’ll always go back! Everyone is efficient and welcoming!
The staff is friendly enough. But one time they gave me the wrong dog. Another time they completely missed that my dog was very sick. The weekday pick up and drop off waits can be very long.
Our dog Tucker is always happy and well taken care of - the staff is super helpful, and we’ve always felt well-informed on Tucker’s time there!
Atlas is greeted with so much love every time I bring him in! It’s incredibly refreshing to see how excited each employee is to greet your dog and how excited your dog is to see them. It’s like a home away from home and it makes me feel so much better leaving Atlas there to play with friends!
I like the positive attitude of those who work there and my dog seems to love it. I also like the fact you are open until 7, because I need the little extra time to get out of work and get there. Most places I try close earlier.
Dogtopia is the best hands-down. My dogs love comeing. The staff is wonderful. They take good care of my dogs.

My big blocky headed dog absolutely loves her time at Dogtopia. She gets tons of socialization and exercise at daycare, and is a happy well adjusted dog due to her time there each week. The staff are great and treat her like a member of their families. We love the monthly photoshoots but we may need a bigger fridge for all our photo magnets. 😁
I don’t like that I can’t pause for a week when my dog is unable to attend
The staff at Dogtopia Clifton Park is extremely warm and welcoming to all the dogs and humans. The facility is very clean and well run.
The staff at the location are great. I absolutely love when they do art projects or photo shoots with the dogs. I'll also say it's the best smelling dog daycare I've ever used - which sounds silly - but it makes a huge difference psychologically.
I will say - my primary criticism is just around the pay structure. I wish there was a way to buy a large pack of daily credits at a discounted rate (as opposed to the weekly subscription). There are times when we don't need all 3 days - and we end up paying for more than we use. We can then sometimes lose track of how many "extra" credits we have saved up. It's just a bit of a hassle. I gather this is an organization-wide system issue (as opposed to a franchise issue), so I didn't dock my rating too much because I think the folks at Dogtopia of Olathe are doing a great job. (Also - not sure if this is possible - but we boarded our dogs once at a place where they had a camera in the kennel at night. It was nice to be able to occasionally check in on them while we were away.)
Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Its easy to schedule daycare time (though the website defaulted all my appointments to all day rather than the hours I put in). My dog is always excited to go and happy when picked up.

Webcams are great.
All the rooms are clean and at least one human is always with the dogs. All the treat days and extra activities for the pups are super!
While I haven’t yet used Dogtopia’s other services (boarding, spa, etc.) I no doubt some day will and trust they are all top-notch.

My dog absolutely loves her Dogtopia days and the staff is great. The two things that could make it better are room for the large dogs to run and shorter pick up times.
