Cleanliness, courteous, employees, kind, and friendly to the dogs.
Stella always comes home ready to take a long nap. She’s been going to Dogtopia for over three years now and there has never been any incidents or injuries. She enjoys her time there and gets excited as soon as we get to 156 and Q street.
We were hoping for more communication about how our dog was doing while at daycare. We weren't ever really sure if her behavior there was consistent with a calm or enjoyed state. We took her for the social interaction since she likes to play with other dogs in smaller settings. It felt like she was pacing and following the people around most of the time, which doesn't seem really calming. She rarely played with other dogs and seemed fixated on the door where dogs and people came in and out, and she barked a lot, which we think she does when stressed.
We didn't NEED her to be in daycare (we work from home), so eventually we decided it wasn't really something she enjoyed enough for us to continue (and perhaps it was stressing her out).
The service is good, the place is clean, and for the right dog it can be great. We just weren't convinced it was right for our dog and didn't get the sense that the staff was really open to talking to us about it honestly (their incentive being, of course, to keep her coming). So we had to make the decision based on what we were seeing.
I can’t say enough good things about this daycare and their staff! They are so attentive and genuinely care about the dogs in their care. The difference I’ve seen in one of my pups has been incredible — he started out scared and very unsure of people, and now he has completely come out of his shell. The change has honestly been night and day.
Both of my dogs get tons of exercise, great socialization, and always come home happy and tired. I also love all of the cute activities/celebrations they do with them! Most importantly, I never have to worry when my dogs are there. I know they’re safe, and being well cared for - that peace of mind means everything. I’m so grateful for everything the staff has done for my pups!
There's nothing really noteworthy about the service for positive or negative. It gets our pup out of the house on days we need to, but she mostly just lays around. Sometimes comes home stinky, smelling of pee. Not always pleased with how long they're in their crates, often until well after 2:00. Its cheaper than the alternatives and I know she's safe, but it's sort of the bare minimum.
The staff
My dog likes Dogtopia. She is always happy to be there and doesn't want to leave. The staff is attentive and professional, easy to work with. Pricing is transparent and reasonable. I have had no problems and I don't hesitate to use them when needed.
Very convenient and affordable
The reduced rate for half days. The service and concern for the pups
The hours of availability is great. The staff is helpful and does an awesome job of providing care for our pup. The facility is clean, well maintained and sanitary.
I love how excited everyone is to see my Rusty. Every. Single. Time. Very loving and caring.
🐶❤️
My dog was very VERY nervous with new people- especially tall bearded men- when he first started going. The first two weeks were very rough for both of us. Him because he was scared and confused and me because I hated hearing how upset he got each day and would nip at some of the employees. He also started resource guarding and being a menace when trying to get him out of a kennel. It was atypical behavior for him when he was with me. There wasn't much I could do for it personally. I also work in VetMed so I have seen many bad things come from free-roaming dog boarding, which made the stress worse.
Thankfully, the staff was fantastic with him! They assured me they had it handled, it was under control, and to just give it time. I felt like one of my friends sending their child off to kinder for the first time!
I chose to trust them, and I am so glad I did. While he still startles sometimes if a random person approaches him quickly, he is overall much better with people and loves other dogs. He races me to the door to go to daycare and loves when he gets to stay overnight.
The two mild issues I have had generally revolve around grooming services. There have been a couple times when I have requested discharge baths (after boarding) that have been missed, and occasionally his nails to appear to have been done. When it is done, they do a great job!
Overall, I am very happy with them.
Everyone is very kind
A day at Dogtopia makes all the difference in the life of our dog Lucy. She comes home having been with friends and playing all day! It is like we had given her a full day of enrichment activities, but we were able to go to work and school.
Caring, professional, good communication
Dogtopia at Fort Mill was absolutely wonderful with my elderly dog. Every member of the team—from the manager to the front desk staff—treated her with incredible kindness, patience, and gentleness. She loved going there, and the experience helped her tremendously with socialization while giving her something special to look forward to.
I was especially impressed by how attentive the staff was. If they had even the slightest concern, they called me immediately. In fact, they were the first to notice some changes and issues with her, which showed me how closely they watched over her and how genuinely they cared.
Sadly, we had to stop attending because she is nearing the end of her life and now needs more rest. It was an emotional decision, and the compassion shown by the entire Dogtopia team meant so much to me.
I cannot recommend Dogtopia highly enough. They truly care about every dog entrusted to them, and the entire team is outstanding. I will always be grateful for the happiness, care, and love they gave my girl.
My dog is always happy to go to Dogtopia and comes home tired. We also love their dog groomer. She does a wonderful job!
Very knowledgeable and excellent staff. Thank you!
Dogtopia has been great! My dog loves it there! She is very high energy, so I send her on the days that my partner and I both work long shifts. She is always excited to arrive at Dogtopia, and greets the employees happily.
I am so glad to know that she is safe, supervised, and socializing with other dogs and people, while I am at work for 12 hours. And she comes home ready to snuggle and sleep :)
The staff and always knowing that my dog is safe
We just LOVED the staff. So friendly, so caring. You can really feel that they care about their pups. We came in from out of town and had our girl stay for a day, she was so well taken care of and had a blast. I wish these dog lovers were nearby me, they would be my go-to. Can’t recommend them highly enough!
The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Friendly, warm staff who work hard on keeping the rooms clean and safe.
Customer service
The hours are perfect for a business owner like me. I like that boarding is affordable and includes daycare for the day! The staff is always so friendly and give feedback on how my fur baby is doing 💕
Caring corners & Staff. All our past Dobermans visited.. stayed & played at DogTopia ..all the years they were alive. My Support Shepherd also has been visiting there the past 9- years!
They are Awesome !
The Farragut staff are absolutely amazing! They are very informative, professional, and patient. We are so thankful to be a part of Dogtopia community!
Friendly staff. App makes it easy to schedule appointments.
Customer service is obviously amazing but the thing I like the best is knowing that I can drop off my four legged partner, and he comes home tired, and Happy from playing with all of his friends. He sleeps better, but he is super excited every day when we pull up and that speaks volumes.
Literally nothing

I’m very concerned about the dog death recently and upset that no one in management has reached out to the regulars confirming/explaining what happened and what’s being done to prevent it in the future.
We understand accidents happen, what we can’t understand is why no one is addressing it with us. On top of that, we had a lot of pressure to sign a new contract immediately after the death. This left a bad taste in our mouth that the first priority was securing future business, not assuaging customer concerns. We are now trying out new day care centers as a result of how the recent dog death was so poorly handled. Prior to this, we were happy taking our dog there.
