I tried on clearance sale shoes at the local store, but the cleats were not suitable for my trike pedals. The salesperson got on the Trek site and found some other clearance shoes and offered to order them in for me, but we were quite a distance from home. She told me that I could order them and have them sent to my house - which I did. They are a great fit, and appropriate for my trike pedals. Without her suggestion, I would never have known that I could shop and order from the Trek site.

However when I went to the store to pickup, the older gentleman was so kind and so friendly as well as helpful, I will 100% be bringing my business to this store. I found the exact bike I wanted online and placed the order. Three days later it arrived. During that time I received prompt confirmations, tracking information, and even an exact delivery window within two hours.

The bike — a Trek Domane+ ALR6 AXS — was very easy to assemble. Essentially it required installing the handlebar and the front wheel. Every tool necessary for the assembly was included, even torque hex keys to ensure the bolts were tightened properly. I was impressed by that level of attention to detail.

It took me about an hour to unpack and assemble the bike, and within two hours I was test riding it and making minor fit adjustments.

So far, I love the bike. This is my first electric-assist bicycle and it’s my 81st birthday present to myself. I could not have had a better purchasing experience. I’m extremely pleased with the bike and with Trek’s professionalism and the ease with which the order was fulfilled.
