My husband and I had purchased 3 Trek bikes prior to this latest purchase. When my husband decided to add a gravel bike to our collection, his first (and only) test ride was on Trek Checkpoint. It wasn't so much the .com experience, but how your folks handled a poorly handled order from the .com site, that turned things around.
My simple order was mishandled from the start, ending up with a mixup in orders despite the notification I received saying it had arrived.
So, kudos to Skip for immediately recognizing there was an issue and expediting a new shipment to me. Eric also was helpful. But Skip did what he needed to do and communicated all along.

I have never had a bad experience at Trek. It is my most favorite bike store. My husband and I drove 2 hours just to go to Trek vs local bike shops. The people, atmosphere, bikes, and products are outstanding.

Good follow through. Mechanics have the desired level of skill to work on my rather expensive Domaine. Was a bit disappointed that the shop didn't have a rich inventory of parts -- simple stuff like value stems -- would be nice to have some choices instead of having to compromise.

The Red Barn experience buying a pre-owned refurbished ebike was awesome! I had the bike shipped to my local trek dealer and there was a problem with the front caliper. My bike shop was able to work with their Trek rep and the front caliper and the mineral oil soaked brake pads were replaced under warranty. I absolutely love my new (to me!) ebike. It is a Trek Rail 9.7 gen 2 2022 model. I needed an ebike as I am having some health issues that temporarily preclude me from riding my acoustic mountain bike. I am so pleased with Red Barn that I referred my close friend to the site as he is in a similar situation to me.
There was an issue with the product and they took care of it immediately.
