Best packing of a bike I have ever seen. Very easy to undo everything and everything was very well secured with a Velcro type tape. All in perfect condition.

The bike arrived promptly after order. Bike was in perfect, brand-new condition out of the box. Assembly was straightforward and took about a half-hour. Daughter loves the bike and says that it will serve her well while she uses it to serve a full-time ecclesiastical mission. Thank you Trek team!

When I went to pick up the helmets, the guys working there was great. Awesome atmosphere.

It was easy to order, and I got a very good price on a closeout item. I received the partially assembled bicycle in a reasonable time period. I was packed very well and easy to perform the final assembly using the provided instructions and tools.

I did add or replace a few items:
1) Replaced the narrow "racing" seat with a "wide load" seat to support my aging 72-year-old butt.
2) Added a kickstand to ease bike storage - note: care required to avoid clamping cable that run along the frame location kickstands are normally installed at. I avoided the rear brake cable, but accidentally caught the rear gear shift wire, disabling its shifting ability...now fixed.
3) Added smartphone and water bottle holders

Flawless experience with trekbikes.com today, found the product and price that I wanted, selected size and color, I got the L frame, chose between delivery to my home or delivery to a conveniently located installation partner, I chose to deliver to home because it was 1 day faster (though I am still curious if I had sent it to the installation partner, would they have received the bike the same day that I did at home, and then be able to do a same-day turnaround, in that case the time would have been equal with the benefit of a professional install, I guess I'll never know), the bike arrived very quickly within 1-2 days of ordering, I thought it might take an hour or two to unpack and assemble, it took me less than an hour, everything was included in the package even the grease for the pedals, pedal wrench, and hex head torque wrench (awesome!). Overall delighted with trekbikes.com and the product that I received and would recommend trekbikes.com to friends.

Local Trek dealer is Ben's Bikes in Sequim, WA. I was able to go into their store and staff showed me various models, let me sit on various sizes to determine best size fit for me and reviewed gear ratios. Also able to order with confidence and have ready extras such as kickstand, back rack, fenders and thorn resistant tubes. Once I ordered on line, bike arrived in timely manner, was assembled with add ons in a timely manner
