I enjoyed my yoga class and my instructor. My boy suggestion would be to limit the class to a smaller size that’s appropriate to the size of the class room. The room is definitely too small for the number of participants there were in my Saturday vinyasa flow class
I’ve had a great experience at A.E. Finley YMCA. The facility is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff is amazing, not only are they welcoming, but they also take the time to show you around and explain everything, which makes you feel comfortable from day one.
The group fitness instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely make the classes enjoyable. One of my favorite things about this YMCA is the variety and quality of the group fitness classes. There’s always something to choose from, and the instructors keep the workouts fun and motivating.
The women’s locker room is clean and spacious, with plenty of showers, comfortable seating, and a steam room, which is a wonderful bonus after a workout. And I have to mention the free coffee, it’s a nice little perk!
The only thing I wish is that I lived closer so I could take advantage of everything this facility has to offer even more often.
great instructors, great classes and sense of community and friendship
A.E.Finley is the best ever YMCA in the country because of the people - the staff, and the members. The staff is exceptional in their love and kindness to the members, and the members are equally loving and kind. I am loving my membership, and wish I had joined 30 years ago!!!
I love the group fitness classes and the community among the members. I have met so many wonderful people from the classes. My only concern is I wish there were more time in between classes to stretch, clean up equipment and gather my belongings without feeling rushed as the next class is already coming in. My suggestion would be to have a bigger gap in between time slots so transitions can be smooth. For example, class starts at 5:45-6:45 the next class starts at 7:00 or something like that.
We took a chair yoga class and it was a good way to get introduced to the Y.

All of the people who work for the Y are so friendly. And they are very kind to my son who has autism. We love the atmosphere at the outdoor pool. The check in attendants and lifeguards are great!
I love the Finley Y and what makes it so special are the friendly, professional people who work there. Special shout out to all the Aqua Fit instructors who brave the heat and motivate us to work hard.

I love the staff, the heated outdoor and indoor pool, the saunas and classes. Mostly I swim, so the pools are why I've membership.

The counselors are so enthusiastic and professional. To find that in the heat of July this late in the summer is awesome.

I love the outdoor pool. I think it would be very appreciated if it stays open for lap swim longer periods on Spring/Fall. Normally it is only available for Swim Team after Summer.

Zumba is great!
I enjoy going here. Staff members are always friendly, especially Ms. Jeane at the front desk. I’m happy that the women’s sauna and steam room usually work at this Y. I also appreciate the towel service, since not many gyms offer that.
Can you guys fix the front doorway with some WD-40? It makes an extremely loud metal scraping noise when opening/closing. I’ve noticed it two days in a row now.
The staff at the Y is out-of-this-world great: welcoming, helpful, expert and kind.
What I like about the A. E Finley YMCA Membership experience is that it has such a friendly, enjoyable, and supportive atmosphere. Everybody has amazing hospitality while being encouraging to one another. We are able to exercise comfortably with the whole family while having awesome family bonding time.
With a more personal experience, having a membership helped me stay motivated in my workouts.
