I’ve traveled the country and visited many YMCA’s along the way. I love the organization as a whole and all they do for the community as well as its members. The Finley YMCA is easily the best YMCA I’ve ever been affiliated with. The staff are genuine, knowledgeable, and caring. Their facilities are top notch and well maintained. Kudos to the wonderful people who make this organization a part of my daily life!
Has all the necessary equipment, classes, pool, etc.
Please keep water aerobics folks out of the swim lanes. When you have 4 or more lanes dedicated to the water aerobics classes the remaining lap lanes shouldn't be blocked by people doing individual aerobics workouts. There is enough room in the water aerobics section for that even when classes are going on.

The staff is great and the facility is always clean. I always look forward going to the Y. However, I see dues increasing every year and I do not see the quality of the towels getting better. I would also like to see the suana be hotter. I can understand the previous temp of around 180 was maybe too hot, but 160 is not hot enough. The information I have gathered for a dry sauna is that the temp plus humidity should be a factor of 200. The Y's sauna is less than that, so I believe the temp could be increased.
Lots of cardio equipment and weight machines
Staff is always super nice. Love all of the classes & trainers. The locker rooms are always clean & have great amenities.

The front desk staff, the folks who keep the facility clean, the class instructors, the smiling folks that help you get into your locker, the folks who hand you a towel, the other members working out along side, the facility…. All of the above!

The Finley Y is very nice, good facilities, very excellent instructors, and a great social crowd, I like the hours it is opened, and the clean locker rooms. I'd like more classes scheduled, as most classes fill up very fast in advance. I do wish, that in the summer, you would allow us to bring visiting grandchildren to the outdoor pool at a reasonable cost ($5) given we might stay only 30 minutes or less than 90 minutes.
I do want to call out the excellent instructors and how each of them work hard to give us good workouts, and demonstrate how we can exercise safely.
