Great place, very clean
Clean, well maintained facility. Great classes-especially strength training. Great people- no judgement, good senses of humor.

You need better management of the aerobic/ yoga program. More certified instructors need to be recruited to teach these classes.
1) re-do the childcare area - get rid of the huge McDonalds style playscape and create a studio for aerobics and other classes where a wood floor is appropriate - room 1 floor is not good
Consider adding Barre classes
2) Put the televisions back up -- you need accounts to log in on the ellipticals, treadmills and recumbant bicycles

The sense of community
Truth is , it doesn’t feel like a gym….. not intimidating in the least, and more importantly, everyone from the receptionists to the personnel in the gym - DON’T TRY TO SELL YOU ANYTHING ! and that’s a blessing . Ideally located, flexible opening times and the gym has superb equipment. My goodness there is even a pool ! and just when you think it can’t get any better - the coffee is free !
Great job - the team and the town of Fairfield are very good at what they do

The staff and instructors are really very helpful, courteous and professional. I enjoy talking with them.
I personally love the water aerobics and all the senior programs for us have been great. Particularly Zumba gold and active older adult fit with Colleen. Also for me, it’s the free membership as I I probably would not go if I had to pay for it. So thank you.

It's bright, clean, the staff are nice, classes I take are very helpful to me.
Love the swimming pools and changing rooms. Love the Wednesday night workouts. The gym has what I need and I never wait for equipment.
Staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s free for me with my supplemental insurance and I often think about how amazing it is to have all this for free. Best deal ever :-)

The classes and the time they're offered; everyone (staff and members) are generally friendly; the things the Y does for the community; blood drive, collecting sneakers, school supplies, etc.
Excellent pool and gym facilities. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Locker room is clean and tidy (although a bit small).
Love the pool - it has helped me recover from an injury that had been affecting my quality of life. Wish you were open til 10pm every night but really happy overall with my Y experience - thank you!
It has a welcoming environment. The people who work there are very helpful and friendly. The Y is also very involved in the community. Also the campus and building are very well maintained. There are a great number of various programs.
Although there are few of us, the TV watchers could be better served IF (1) the TV's always worked (2) the channels were relevant, not New York news, for example, but most importantly, the sound coming to the exercise stations should match what's on the TV's! A user should be able to plug headphones into a machine and switch among the four TV's and hear clear audio for each TV.
Otherwise, People at the Y are great-- the best!
