Clean, bright property, good open swim hours (we come from Stratford because theirs are more limited)
I like the water aerobics classes that I attend.
My child has had a great time at camp this summer. The staff have been amazing.
The staff are all so friendly and nice. The other members are also very nice and friendly
Fix the WiFi!!
I am able to bring my family. There are also fitness groups that I enjoy like cardio, zumba and bicycle.
Great value. Freedom to make my own choices without pressure. I love the amount of work out classes- I wish more were at night/ evening. I do wish the pool was a little warmer though- it's the one thing that really makes it hard to spend time there with the kids at night. I like that there are family changing rooms and the facilities always feel clean. I love our indoor climbing gym for kids.
It is very clean, The staff is friendly and helpful. I love all the new friends I have made!
I strongly believe the fairfield YMCA building should be rebuilt and made bigger to accommodate more swimming demand and general facilities demand. There is a lot of unused space in the front of the building. The pool needs to be twice as big and there should be family friendly areas (both indoor and outdoor) similar to the Westport YMCA offerings. This should include a splash pad, outdoor pool, indoor or outdoor pickleball, etc.
Cleanliness
Crowds in locker rooms
More over sight in weight room
Bathroom availability outside locker room
Friendly atmosphere and staff. Water classes are entertaining and it’s a workout.
Excellent classes, amazing instructors and a clean and welcoming facility. There is always a feeling of inclusion no matter age, race, culture or ability. It is a very special and welcome space to have in our lives among the challenges the country and world are facing.
The pool is clean and well run.
That's the only thing I use!

Love the instructors and the people. It’s a family atmosphere
Friendly, professional & offer a variety of healthy activities
Comp pool separate from water exercise class pool
Very good exercise facilities and pools
Be more welcoming/friendly
I like everything about this YMCA. Group classes are great and the instructors make the classes fun. Building is kept very well maintained and very clean. Staff are wonderful. Always professional.
Friendly people who are helpful- very clean facility and a lot of exercise equipment and hardly ever a wait for a machine or any weights or bikes or treadmills
My kids love the camp. It's a little pricey. I'd more likely recommend it if was affordable for the average family who absolutely need child care when school is not in session.
The staff is courteous and professional, and the facility is family friendly.
I was working with my son during open swim to improve his stroke (giving him some pointers) and was told I couldn’t do so as they don’t allow personal trainers. I am not a personal trainer and was only helping my son. I explained that, but was told I couldn’t help him.
After that poor experience, I cancelled my membership.
Welcoming, clean and variety of activities for members.
Everybody is so nice and helpful!
The Fairfield YMCA is run with a lot of care for its members and the facility itself. It is bright, clean and welcoming. My only issue, which has been ongoing, is that folks who wish to exercise in the pool are welcomed during scheduled lap swim times. The pool is small. It means that those of us lap swimming, albeit at a slower speed than the other lanes, are not given the same consideration. When I wake up at 4:30am to lap swim, it is disappointing when there are two of us lap swimming in the slow lane and someone wishing to rehab an injury or simply walk around in the water comes in choosing not to do so during open swim. At times there are can be more than one person who is not a lap swimmer. This also happens during other scheduled lap swim times as well. That would be my only complaint. Other than that I think the Y is wonderful.
Get the kids off their cell phones while on the workout machines. Not only do they sit for a long time hogging the machine, who knows what they are filming??
Always clean, reliable and professional.
great classes

The Television’s have not been working for over 6 weeks. The management can’t seem to resolve this problem. They need to prioritize this issue. Very disappointing.
