Competency
I wish there would be better involvement when it comes to dealing with municipalities and HOAs/management companies. A lot of times the municipalities will require repairs on "as is" deals by sellers or their presale inspections are so picky that goes beyond safety. It would be nice to know upfront how much fees would buyer cover if any when buying foreclosure from the management companies and not 3 days prior closing as well as to be better communicatively. I wish we would fight municipalities on lower escrows when involved thus a working class does not normally comes up with $20K in cash to post in a working class area where buyers buy with minimum amount down. Also I wish we would fight municipalities on rental ordinances where landlords have to pay - inspect their units/homes...I do not believe that is really fair. I wish we would fight increasing real estate taxes somehow.

I like Mainstreet but I think the fees are high. 3x a year seems excessive.

Annual dues are outragious - why so much money not to the local professional organization
but large sums to others who do nothing for us but cause problems It is a very sorry situation.
I know the lawyers are happy since the law suits will continue and we the individuals will continue to pay those bills
It reflects on us as a profession - Are we professionals who tolerate those in control to make fools of us and do not represent the profession - are we going to continue to pay those bills while we loose any sembleance of professionalism
