Hans was a huge help and very knowledgeable in helping me make a purchase of my first e-bike. He was very accommodating in making small adjustments to the bikes fit and ensuring I was comfortable and confident in my multiple test rides.

I Needed a new bike. Due to an leg injury, I needed a step-through. I wanted a bike with an internal Shimano hub, Fenders, not an e-bike, and an upright ride. I had been researching online the Gazelle and Azor "omafiets" from The Netherlands. At this point I was ready to purchase one of the Dutch bikes online. Just in case, I checked the Freewheel Bike website. I wasn't very impressed with what I saw. Hmm? Let's take one last look at the shop. When I got there the sales person listened to what my demands were. Said "I think I know what you want". He showed me the Electra, Loft 7I, Ladies in Hazel. It checked all of the boxes! I went home and came back with a means to transport the bike. Michael got the bike ready, sized it up, added the assessories I picked out. Even added my trailer hitch for me. The prices were good, the service was top notch, and I am happy with my bicycle. For some reason it didn't catch my eye online, but in the shop it just stood out as the best choice. Folks, go ahead, look online. But for heavens sake BUY AT YOUR LOCAL BICYCLE SHOP! It's worth it.

Products are fine, they are what they are made by whatever company. Its the staff that makes the place. Always friendly, helpful and probably some of the best, certainly most attentive, customer service I have experienced.

The tune-up I had done to my bike made it look new. The service tech went over the bike with me and presented me with my options. Good advice on everything. During the service they called and consulted with me on a couple of issues they found. We agreed on a plan and they had my bike ready to roll in a few days.

The crew in Bloomington store is great. They did a complete overhaul of my mountain bike and it looks/feels brand new. I trust them to replace worn components and get the ride in shape for 2024 season. Mike was especially helpful and kind.
