The front desk / registration area is very efficiently run. Procedure was on time. Staff in pre op and post op were friendly and knowledgeable

Everyone on the staff was amazing and getting set up for surgery was easy
Postpartum staff needs to get on the same page when it comes to newborn feeding. We were getting a lot of conflicting information. Some, but not all of the nursing staff could use some work on their bedside manner. Hospital also should work towards increasing staff knowledge on food allergies and protocol for patients with severe sensitivities. Dedicated food prep/cooking surfaces/equipment would be needed to accommodate Celiac disease and other conditions that must avoid cross contamination.

The doctor and attending nurse were great.
However he triage nurse was very rude.
I’d been experiencing high irregular heartbeats for several hours. My KARDIA app registered that I had a fibrillation symptoms.
Ended up choosing a Baylor Scott and White hospital as my cardiologist is part of that network.
When I got to the ER the triage nurse (not the registration team- they were very kind) asked my symptoms. When I told her I thought I had AFib her response was a sarcastic “and you a chose to come here?” I replied asking if I should go elsewhere, to which she said “you’re here we might as well check you in”
Really confused by this as the care the team provided was outstanding. Perhaps she was having a bad night. I was very impressed with the attending nurse and the doctor. I very much appreciate their help.
