Fast and friendly Checkin, nurses were caring and gave their complete attention, informed us what to expect and made sure we were comfortable! Doctor was empathetic and courteous. Doctor did a complete work up, let us know the plan of care, and made sure we felt heard. We felt like we were in the best hands all around and had an exceptional experience! I was disappointed to learn that if my event (gastric distress) required a gastroenterologist or an endoscopy, I would need to be transported to another hospital. I was told the same for a cardiac event - no cardiologist in Baylor, Scott, White, as they are primarily an OB facility?
So in the case of a true emergency I would recommend going to a hospital that serves all major medical needs.

The nursing staff if incredible. From pre-op to recovery, those ladies that took care of me are passionate about their work and it shows when taking care of someone. My only complaint, and has nothing to do with the nurses, was the doctor was running 4 hours behind on surgery. Something that should be addressed or told to patients that can’t eat or drink the entire day. When you’re planning on being home around 7-8pm and don’t get home until after midnight, it’s annoying.
