This was my 1st visit to Baylor Frisco and I loved everything, including the front office staff that checked me in, nurses, Dr Burleson, anstestesologist, just everyone! Special Kudos to Tanner that took care of me prepping me for surgery and in recovery as well.

From beginning to end, my experience was top notch and seamless. This includes checking in, being discharged, and everything in between. The staff was kind and attentive. I would certainly recommend Baylor Scott & White Medical Center.

First night nurse broke sterile field, stuck me more times than necessary because she forgot to draw labs/wasnt paying attention, and just didn’t start the experience off well at all. We didn’t have confidence in her abilities. The day nurse and charge nurse in L&D the day I delivered were angels and if not for them, I probably would rate the overall experience a 3 or so. Postpartum-I’d hit the call light and it would malfunction so I’d never be brought what I asked for and had to hit again. (Could see on the wall where the call box said it wasn’t working and that I needed to physically phone call the front desk). Every time someone answered the call light, they sounded annoyed. I get it also being in healthcare that it’s exhausting but you don’t show that to patients. Wait time for nurses in PP was very long. Would’ve been fine if I knew that and it was the expectation but it could be nearly an hour at times. It was a fitful night one night and finally my husband and baby fell asleep and the night nurse comes in being very loud and wanting to go over discharge instructions at midnight! She had the audacity to say the baby wont wake up if we are talking. The postpartum experience as a whole was incredibly underwhelming.

Very professional and polite from checking in to the release from the hospital.
I like the fact that upon entering, I was greeted and given a beeper. Even though it was busy with people checking in, I felt seen and welcomed. I did not have to stand in a line but wait for the beeper to go off to go up to the counter to check in. I also liked that my husband kept the beeper and was notified when my procedure was over. Great customer service!
You are so kind and patient-focused. Every doctor, nurse, technologist, and receptionist I interfaced with was very focused on diagnosing and meeting my immediate needs. I know that medical professionals often work long 12 to 16 hour shifts and yet everyone made me feel as if I was the only patient at the hospital.
