My doctor was great! Food was great! I did have a nurse who I felt was overly trying to push me to receive an epidural even though we already discussed before hand that I would not be okay with receiving one. That’s one downside I did NOT like at all. Other than that everything else was amazing!

Doctor not making fun of it, and having the radiologist read the report and letting them tell me plus not providing information of why he put a shoe on me if it was just a sprain and not broken.

At the registration desk, everyone was friendly and upbeat. The nurses were caring and compassionate with clear intentions, and the facility was pretty and homey in the lobby area.

This is the second time in 2 years that I have had surgery here. This truly is a patient-centered hospital. This time I spoke with several employees who shared that they feel their commitment to caring for patients is more than just a job. It is in their culture. I watched how when one caregiver hands off a patient, when their shift has expired, with such care and they look on before leaving to make certain the patient is cared for properly. It appears some workers stay on past their clock out time on rare occasions they are shorthanded.
Each employee that I asked how they viewed their role here at Baylor Frisco, basically described it almost as a family run business. The workers here that don't share the dedication are quickly replaced while those who love their patients would never work anywhere else by choice.
This is a sharp contrast to "covid centric" Baylor Plano.
Please keep up the excellence! I appreciate the care I have received enormously!

From the check in at the front desk to day surgery, my nurse Christina is always so pleasant. My discharge was fast the Doctor ended up missing us but she did call on our way home!!! I get nothing but the best care every time I come to Frisco!!!
I just had my 3rd baby at Baylor Frisco. The facility is super nice and I love how peaceful it is when you walk in. The updated décor is very nice. The nurses and staff are amazing - I've enjoyed seeing some of the same faces over the years - Nurse Kristin is amazing as well as both lactation consultants. Before my first child, my husband and I took all of the classes offered and learned a ton. I changed my view and decided to have a natural birth and am so thankful for all of the knowledge and guidance I received through the classes. Post-Covid, it seems classes have been limited - I think this is a great strength of the hospital - so although I understand, it would be nice to have more classes. I was disappointed that the "Big Sibling" class is no longer offered. Not only are the Nurses and medical staff amazing, the food services and housekeeping are extremely pleasant. The food is delicious and the celebration dinner is definitely something to look forward to... by far this is the best hospital to deliver in DFW. My only critique is that we could definitely tell costs are being cut - I've enjoyed receiving a free bathtub for my first 2 babies. But I will say, hand-delivering the thank you card seems extreme - I would highly recommend mailing them - it's nice to receive in the mail a few days/a week later and not get mixed in the pile of discharge paperwork/handouts - it's not worth saving 50 cents - the impression is much stronger receiving it in the mail. Also, the linens for my husband had a strong urine smell and we had to request fresh ones, there was one swaddle blanket that had a poop stain that we noticed... so probably not common, but there were a few instances that we've never experienced with our previous births. Bottom line, we love & highly recommend Baylor Frisco to everyone and have happy memories giving birth to our children there. I would just quality check the linens and reduce some of the cost-cutting measures [bare minimum the 50 cent postage for thank you card.]
