The staff was very courteous, very kind and professional. They took pride in their work and doing things the right way if there was a problem and they could not do it they went and got someone else that could so that makes all the difference, especially when you’re trying to take blood instead of poking you like a pincushion, they looked for someone that was better at it That may had more experience so it made it not so frightening or painful. They really want to make the patient as comfortable as possible because going in for surgery is scary enough so I’m very happy with Baylor.

One of the staff members at the ER desk wasn't paying attention and gave the person next to me (whom she was checking in) a sticker which was meant for the patient's folder instead of the medical bracelet. She jokingly acknowledged her mistake, but with only two people checking in at that moment, she should have been more professional. The staff member checking me in was great.

I called back today regarding the packet from Legacy ER that my nurse had looked at but forgot to give back to my husband. The girl who answered the phone, didn't clearly say "ER" when she answered and I had to ask "hello?" because I wasn't sure if I was transferred correctly, to which she then clearly said "ER". I told her the situation with the packet and wondered if it was left by the desk after I was discharged Friday night at 11pm. She seemed bothered by my request (and granted I'm sure she was at something that wasn't clearly an emergency issue) but did take my info in the event it's found. By her voice, it sounded like it would just be discarded and not looked into.

Aside from the desk staff, my nurses and dr and anesthesiologist, were fantastic and made my visit a quick and pleasant one.
