Great service, quality work, friendly folks (Bill, Todd, Mark & Owen) and love the hang-out atmosphere. I’ve never wanted to hang out in a bike shop so much before. It’s a haul to get to you guys, but you have my loyalty.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Their bicycle inventory is much better than anyone else. There’s a bar inside the shop and the parking lot has access to a bike trail.

I enjoy visiting the store and even over the phone they have been accommodating. I purchased a bike here last year and they assisted with a fit, and accessories. You ask questions, listen to customers and our concerns, find out how we're going to be using our bikes/accessories, what we're looking for, etc. prior to making recommendations.
The salesman spent a sum total of 3 minutes with us before simply asking if we were ready to be rung up. I would’ve liked a bit more time spent highlighting the bike and/or making sure we had no questions or needed anything else. We literally walked in and dropped $800+ in less than 5 minutes. No information about any service or warranties, no advice offered about proper fitting. We will most definitely NOT be back.

Only shop that actually wanted to help and the precarious problem. Very happy to have come across them, other stores didn’t even try. They found multiple solutions to solve the problem and have a long time customer now.
Top notch. No competitors in the DMV. Service technicians are very competent and talented. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

Friendly customer relations
We love the Bike Lane! We're not a spandex, $3k bike family. We shop at Bike Lane for our kids. Everyone is super helpful and nice. Not snooty like other bike shops (AHEM SPOKES). We live in Vienna where there are several bike shops but drive to Reston because we prefer Bike Lane.
