The best!
Great equipment, friendly and very competent people and, oh yeah, there's a bar in the shop.
I have bought few products from the store BUT I have come to have bicycle repairs done and was both satisfied with the timer required for repair and the quality of the work. Very responsive and personable folks who know their business. I have several old bikes (1970s vintage) and they have always been quick to help out with adjustments and parts.
Excellent Service
Everyone in there is very nice and helpful.
I routinely tell people to go to TBL
The inventory of bikes was amazing. The Bike Lane had one of the hardest to find in-stock Trek kid's bike, Precaliber 24 w/suspension. The staff was also very friendly, and the store had a very no pressure vibe. I can't wait to come back and try some of their in-house crafted brews.
Tech’s
You guys were awesome, I was so pleasantly surprised that it was such a quick and reasonable fix. My daughter was thrilled to have her bike same day.
Prices are very high. From bottles. to gloves, even tires have a large marl-up. People are great though! Super friendly.
I appreciate all your good work!
You usually have what I need. Also, love the location. It's close to me and no troubles parking. Nice staff, too.
Full service and product line bike shop, with excellent support and convenient location
The bike mechanics at The Bike Lane are knowledgeable, easy to talk to, quick to dig deep on areas of the bike someone may not be as experienced with. By far my favorite bike shop!
Pricing was fair, the problem was fixed, and it was done in an appropriate amount of time. However, the technician’s failure to follow through on your system about indicating where the bike was placed made me wait a very long time to pick up the bike, which was undesirable. If you have a system, and people aren’t following it, there should be retraining. Also, although the individual who checked me out, explained that the technician had erred, no one offered me an apology for that fact, and the additional wait time that was necessary.
Friendly staff and always great service.
Great service and happy knowledgeable staff!
Great Service Department!
Very customer oriented. The team at Bike Lane Reston, VA work together to make sure you are taken care of. Overall, a very chill vibe about the place and great place to buy a bike!…or simply grab a beer and go from there!
You all are extremely friendly and helpful.
Great service, helpful advice
Best service and great shop
We needed to rent a bike and the Bike Lane was very accommodating. They came through with a good bike, which they fitted to the biker. They also supplied a helmet at no additional cost. We biked about 15 miles and the bike was completely satisfactory throughout. It was a good experience and we'll probably be back to the Bike Lane in future. I must admit that even though I'd biked on that part of the C&O bike path thousands of time, I didn't even know the Bike Lane was there. But I'll certainly stop for a cold drink next time I go by.
friendly! reliable! good!
Very friendly and customer service focused!
Speedy service. Changed my bike's brake pads very quickly with no appointment required.
The Bike Lane is one of my must-stop-at cafes on my weekly ride between the Reston and Purcelville areas. The staff are always friendly, the food / beer is always good and folks have been pretty tolerant, even though I'm a commuter / light biker who's trying new styles of riding out. Their bike rack is also conveniently set up so its visible from almost anywhere in the store, so you don't have to worry about letting your pedal-powered Ferrarri (or your workhorse Prius-bike-equivalent) out of your line of sight.
They are also one of the only bike shops with rentals in the area, so if you're interested in trying out a different style of bike but aren't willing to mortgage the house on something you don't know if you'll like, they're an excellent resource (and I hear they have follow-on deals if you end up liking the rental in question).
I hear that they're looking at expanding their food license, soon, so there's potentially more great food and drinks on the way (hopefully including curry noodle bowls and pickle shots)!
Cheers, folks! You do a great job! :D
