I drop my bike for tune up two weeks ago and pick it up last sunday hoping that it is done right because i read a lot of good review about service in this bike shop, iam so dissapointed when i tried my bike, the front and back disc brake is still rubbing and its so hard to pedal...bad for me because i drop my second bike for tune up and tire swap, hoping they do it right...

1. The appointment booking was not clear. Staff could have provided more explanation of what booking an appointment means. Example, when you book an appointment, the time is for when you will drop off your bike, not when the job will be done. I purchased two items online and requested pickup at the store. I then call the store to book and an appointment for installation. I drop off the bike on Saturday and was told it will be ready for pickup on Monday. Towards the end of the day on Monday when I did not get a call/text for pickup, I called the store and was told that the job was being done on Monday, not that it will be ready for pickup on Monday. Hence why I recommend clarification of appointment.
2. Improve customer service. I drop off my bike for fender and bell installation. I was not given any job order documentation. A job order either by paper or by email stating that I drop off the bike on a particular date and that the job would be done by a certain date would have been helpful. I had no proof that my bike was at your shop.
Also Staff did not ask me where I wanted the bell installed. I picked up the bike and the bell was on the left side of the handle bar and I preferred it on the right.
I was planning to purchase a Bontrager rear rack and have it installed, but I think I will consider another bike shop.

I don't have much confidence in the mechanics. They seem all youngish and inexperienced and used to mostly building bikes out of boxes but nothing much more advanced than that. My brakes were mounted wrong out of the box and I brought it in to have the brakes fixed after a few weeks and nobody noticed. It wasn't until a family member, who is a mechanic, pointed out the issue to me and I relayed it to SP as best as I could that the brakes were fixed...I think...I'm going to have my relative have another look and see what he thinks...

Great bike purchase plan
Hands down best bike shop in Toronto! No BS. Friendly helpful staff, solid reliable service. Anytime I have a flat or need to tune up, it's the go to spot. I've been coming to a Sweet Pete's (Annex and now Dufferin and Bloor) for for over 10 years or so, and I've never had a problem with any adjustments or suggested they've made. Defiantly the place you go to to get top notch quality products and service. I can't recommend them any higher, literally, 11 out of 10.
